Jeremy Horn got Chuck in an arm triangle way back in '98. It will be interesting....

I think Liddell probably KOs him. He's on a really hot streak lately.

My predictions; Mike Van Arsdale hasn't done anything since 98. He is 40 and he isn't Randy. Couture in second round by TKO St Pierre makes TRIGG tap in a rear naked choke Diego by bs decision over Strasser Lindland makes Joe Riggs tap after a gulliotine choke late in the first I hope Jeremy Horn beats Chuck that match is to close to call

Frank Trigg vs. Georges St-Pierre I've been dying to see that fight, no one I've talked to gives Trigg the credit he so richly deserves because he's a loud mouth, and secondly Matt Hugh's handles him so well, but he is the second best in his weight class in the UFC (since God only knows what happened to BJ Penn, what happened to him after he beat Matt any ways? Did he retire?) As for Chuck's fight I'm sure he'll do fine as long as he's not over confident. I think that was the whole reason Randy lost was his belief in his ability to stand up with Chuck with out at least attempting a ground game.

BJ PENN was signed by the big dogs at K-1 for alot more money. Him and Zuffa( DANA WHITE) don't get along so it seemed the best course for him. I don't think he has been winning lately which just makes UFC more second rate in another weight class.

Travis Lutter will replace David Terrell on the upcoming UFC 54 card in August. Lutter's opponent will be Trevor Prangley.

Props to Liddell for win, props to Horn for survivng to round 4. It wa sa real good show, save the fact after months of putting over Frank Trigg I look like a chump, it was pretty enjoyable. I've grown to accept Chuck as a champion, it was nice seeing Randy climb back up the ladder (I hope his fatgue was more of him having an off night than anything else).

All jokes about bad haircuts aside, I have really come to respect Chuck as a fighter. He is seeking out good challenegers, and coming through with flying colors. He is a stand- up champ, and that is pretty cool.

exaclty, I remember Duce saying that VItor Verus Wanderlai silvai in japan wouldn't sell, but the fact he hasn't ever attempted to persue that match leaves questions. Chuck is seeking out challengers, damn good ones, (even thought after seeing what he did to Horn makes me think he will run rouf shot over Rampage jackson). To Jeremy Horn's credit... he did have the guts to stand with Chuck, but in all honesty in MMA the only real person who has any real business standing with Chuck (in a all out toe to toe brawl) is named Wanderlai Silvia. I new the minute I heard Jeremy intended to fight on his feet let me relize two things. One that wasn't going to last (It didn't he switched back to take downs.. to little to late) and to he wasn't going to win. Randy used a combination of stand up and grounding tactics that made Chuck look useless in there first fight. That's exaclty what Jeremy needed to do, sneak in a punch then go for a take down, and repeat. It would been less exciting but he would won. That being said I'm glad it went the way it did. As a pure fighter I think Wnaderlia silvia is actually suppior to Chuck, but on the other hand, I don't see Wanderlai hunting down VItor, or TIto to avenge his losses (which I'm pretty damn sure Tito Versus Wanderlai would sell if you promoted it right).
The ufc did a great job of selling Horn and Chuck and they made it seem like CHuck was doomed if you listened to the supporters from Horns camp. If Tito went to japan and they sold him as a real threat to Wanderlai, I think they could make a killing in sales.

Quinton Jackson wants next but so does Randy, Renato, and Forest. Not to mention a certain "Ninja" waiting in the wings for a green light. I've got to give it to whoever is helping Dana White's UFC TV efforts( probally just the fine people at SpikeTV) for giving UFC credability again.

So your saying there's something wrong with picking the person who will draw the most sales? Well hell I want them to do that. There's a good chance that would be Randy.. but I think putting Randy back right now would be to rush.. I think you would agree with me(For different reasons) Rampage jackson is the right man for the spot. NInja would be better of facing Randy.
