I have two questions....
1) If I buy the set, but don't have the game table, I'll still get the cards and bios and such in the gallery, correct?
2) Are there tweaks to the stats?

1) Correct.
2) There are NO 'tweaks' to the Original 24 (other than custom color backgrounds) per the request of Tom.
Character progression will begin in 2088.

he left all those errors in there? Disappointing. Well I can at least skip it. Yeah it's a bummer :/ The 2087 correction set Knapik put out should be the model for any potential redux. Awesome stuff that addresses issues such as the cards conforming to the 'official rules'...right down to smoother move sets and a sharper brand of tag wrestling. One major 'room for improvement' CotG has to eventually address is getting the format closer to the way people in the real world play the game. Empower players with the ability to 'fix' or 'improve' things themselves. That means a focus on making game play more customizable (ie. use of their own game charts and wrestlers, enabling dynamic card adjustments, the development of a more versatile PBP Sim, etc). Less projects from the top down and more of an 'it's up to you promoter' approach that gives the player as much creative freedom as the cards and dice do. The potential is there and it's still very early...but there's a very long way to go if this is going to work over the long term and sell beyond a very patient and understanding...yet small group of hardcore players.
