Tom, I was just wondering if you have had any contact with Barry Darsow (famous Smash), Randy Culley (original Smash), Brian Adams (Crush) or Richard Charland (Blast on Independent circuits with Bill Eadie)? I was a big fan of Demolition as a child, and I know that we will probably never be able to have an official Demolition set because of the WWE owning the gimmick. However, I was just wondering if you have had contact at all with any of these guys so we could make an "unofficial" Demolition team?

From what I remember, Darsow said no. I thought it was mentioned that Eadie kindly asked for him not to use Axe due to some legal restraints from the WWE. I could be wrong...

It'd probably be more trouble than it was worth. As for getting someone who portrayed a Demolition guy, without them being Demolition it wouldn't be the same, especially as Eadie as Masked Superstar and as Ax are totally different wrestlers.

I saw Eadie on an indy card here in Virginia a while ago and he was billed as "Axis the Demolisher". I thought it was kind of funny.

I remember seeing Eadie at an indy show in West Virginia back in '98 and him complaining about the scent of the fog used for his entrance

I've spoken with all the wrestlers mentioned and for the reasons mentioned above we won't be doing any Demolition cards unfortunately.
