Quick question:
Does the New Beginnings set come with the updated game charts listed in the online store, or with the originals?
How big are the differences between them?
Cheers.

If I remember right, New Beginnings comes with the old game charts. I know that I bought NB and the new game charts, but only have one copy of the new charts, so I'm pretty sure I'm right on that one. The difference between the two charts is pretty substantial, in my opinion. There's much less opportunity to get disqualified, that automatic countout on OOR is gone, and all of the charts take into account the various ratings in determining what happens in a couple of spots. This makes having a better Ropes, Turnbuckle, etc. rating than your opponent even more important, since it can determine more than just what column you roll on.

Yes, you remember correctly BDS. New Beginnings comes with the original charts.

The original charts that came with the games in the 80's and early 90's were updated at one point to their current form. Now there is only one set of charts (Ring, DJ, TB, Ropes, Pin Saves) for Original GWF, New Begginings and Legends. These are the same ones sold individually. The old versions of the charts are no longer available.

The store lists an 'accessories' bundle for $3 including dice, rulebook and basic charts, and also lists updated versions of the charts for $3 each. Those can't be the same thing, surely. And from his description BDS definitely has different charts to the ones that came in my NB box.

I checked with Fed HQ and there is a difference between the original charts (that come with the box sets and in the accessories bundle) and the updated charts. I personally just use the updated charts, they just fit the game play much better.
