Tom and/or Mark- Are there any specialty matches in the works that may be coming out this year or in the near future? Not sure when the last one really was that could be used by all wrestlers that wasn't just special to one person.
Thanks.

No specific plans at the moment, although it seems to be time for a new Ringside Companion. We'll see. Coincedentally I wrote a new special match last week just to give myself something to do when I was bored. I'm not sure if I like it; it's one of those quirky special matches like the Nightmare Matrix. The working title is a Dark Shadows match and I don't have plans to release it. I'll see if it grows on me. Anyway, I think we'll release SOMETHING by next summer.

Yeah, no plans from me, either. All the good ones have been done!

Maybe down the road have a "promoter-made" match companion? I have many that I could enter of my own. And they don't have 10 words to them either and are quite simple. Nothing like the Barbed Wire Ring of Fire Thing on a Pole Triple Glass and Thumbtacks Ladder match. It'd be cool to see one of these things that were within reason for the matches.

Maybe an official version of the Elimination Chamber match could be done? Or King Of The Mountain?

Eric has King of the Mountain rules in his newest Chaotic Companion. Their pretty solid. They coulduse a few alterations. But overall, they work.
For me, when an official Special match is way out there, like the Nightmare Matrix and the Zero Gravity match (which are my least favorites), I have a hard time getting into it.
Maybe an official inferno (fire) match? It could be done WWE style with the first person to touch the fire loses. Rather then the garbage fed style.

Funny you mentioned that as I just received the two latest Ringside Companions yesterday. I read over the NM match and thought it was a bit out there, but to each their own. Some players are really into the sci-fi aspect while others like to model their feds after "real" wrestling.

A couple new matches would be cool. Also perhaps updates or variations of existing matches as well.

I'd like rules for a Double Dog Collar Match.
Thats the one match we are missing official or bootleg.

The Nightmare Matrix has historically been an important match in my fed. It's a psychological struggle pitting the most "strong-willed" against each other. Wolf used to have bragging rights to winning these most of the time. Lately it's been Endgame. It's almost an unofficial belt in my fed.
