Just looking around in Tom's Brain and it sounds like the trip to California was a big success. I just wanted to congradulate our fearless leader. It's always good to hear that he is able to spread the madness to another part of the galaxy.
And I am sure that his partnership with Stan Lee has got to be an absolute dream come true. How many of us can say we got to sit in Stan Lee's office??? And have lunch with him!?
I am very happy for Tom and proud to be a part of the community here that he started. The best part about it is how much the company has grown and expanded since I started playing: New feds, newsletters, computer versions, Legends of Wrestling, wedding calenders, etc. And through it all, Tom has stayed true to the game and to all of us.
Again I congradulate you Tom on a job WELL done. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

Those of us that have been able to hang out with Tom and become friends with him know the feeling. Swarm said it best at G-Con when he said that Tom is our Stan Lee.

Tom's trip to California was a dream come true for himself and the loyal promoters that visited with him at the Comic Bug. Tom got to meet Stan Lee and I got to meet Tom Filsinger face to face.

You're right, I am very flattered about the Stan Lee comparison. I don't feel I am worthy of the comparison but I am very thankful nonetheless.
The highlight of my trip was meeting loyal promoters and spending hours together at the comic book store. I guess meeting Stan was tied with that.
It was a red-letter day, one I'll never forget.

So, if Stan's "The Man" would that make Tom "The Bomb"?

I think we should take that one step further: Tom "The Power Bomb" Filsinger... ;D Or well, maybe not...Saying it out loud, it doesn't sound as good, despite the wrestling reference... Tom "The Bomb" sounds awesome...

I am definately super psyched for Tom. So cool to be working side by side with a mentor/idol like Stan. I hope to one day have an opportunity to work with someone I respect as much. Could be soon... Alright...alright...when is the big guy coming to hell aka Midwest? Please...please...please...please...you can bunk with my kids...just kidding...sorry guys, I am seriously medicated at the moment.. Tommy, what did we tell you about typing when heavily medicated? I think its best for everyone if you waited until the shoulder heals before coming on the board again.

Yeah, come on, you shouldn't be doing anything extreme with a bad shoulder anyway...And nothing is more extreme than posting on the Filsinger Boards..!!!! ;D

Well, we're still trying to convince Tom to go to GenCon or at least have a booth there.
