If this game comes out and is ran like I think it will be, I may actually be able to keep the dice rolling for one...I've been playing off and on for 10 years now! I seem to always restart.

I just want to say that whenever the computer version of CotG is finally released, it can be run on Windows Millenium. I can't afford to buy another computer with the Windows XP, nor can I afford to upgrade to XP.

I can't afford to buy another computer with the Windows XP, nor can I afford to upgrade to XP. I wouldn't hold my breath for official support for that OS. ME was a piece of junk when it came out, and Microsoft never really put the resources into fixing it because they wanted to push everyone to the XP architecture. That, and they had originally planned to have a 2000 home edition but at the last minute threw together a Win 95-based architecture that didn't get real R&D support. Maybe you'll get lucky, but I don't know any newer development tools that support that OS out of the box. Heck, VB 6 didn't support ME, and Microsoft is discontinuing support for that and pushing the .NET tools, which I'm almost positive will cause trouble for ME users.

I personally would rather have something web-based rather than something on CD. Would open up alot more possibilities and allow for easier upgrades. We'll see what happens...

CD installation probably would work best, since a hosted game or a full game download might consume more server resources that Filsinger Games has access to at the present. Upgrades could always be distributed via the web, and that would consume a lot less bandwith.

How cool would it be to have a java version right on the filsinger games site.. we could play AGAINST each other, (maybe even with ratings and on-line title belts)or use it for our own feds... could be very cool . It could be one of those deals were you get a free sub for some amount of time for buying the game, or you could just buy tiime...
I agree that its prolly not what's gonna happen, but it sure would be neato.

Any more word on this? I ordered LOW sets and when I asked about it Laura (I think) said that it was getting close. SO Kris is there a slight chance that it might be ready by Christmas or is it still a few months away.
And is there any way to let us know what features will be in it?
Any info would make this promoter very happy!
Thanks in advance!
Later.

Markoda (and others wondering), While I don't know much as of yet, I do know to not expect any more big news on this until after the new year. I know that when Tom and Kris release this that they want it to be right and don't want to rush it. From the bits and pieces I have heard your patience will be greatly rewarded.

Thanks! Any and all info on this is greatly appreciated.
Hopefully some news on features will be coming soon.
I cannot wait for this as it will allow me to catch up a lot sooner.
I am only in 2075 (EC), but I run one card a week plus a PPV every month. Gets me more into the characters and allows me to do more with them.
Thanks again.

Things are moving along quite nicely. I'm actually very excited with the progress and I'm certain anyone with at least a tad bit of interest in this product will be satisfied.
Significant details will be coming soon enough...
Stay tuned!

I seriously need this game.
I'm only in 2107 right now and at the rate I'm going it will be impossible to catch up. Plus, I want to be able to establish some history with Early Classics and the CPC and aCe and Legends. And I really want to start playing NB.
Hopefully this game will allow me to "sim" some of those feds so I can at least get some history down and jump ahead to catch up with the rest of you guys.
