Hi Tom
I am a little frustrated about the fact that Bust Up, Tyranny, Necros and P3 are very difficult to get hold of and do not want to pay over the odds at auctions when they pop up on rare occasions. I have every single GWF/LWF card possible apart from these four as I was not involved in the game at the time they were made available. Is there a compromise whereby a promoter could say at very least purchase just their stats from you? They are part of GWF histroy (esp. Tyranny and from what I remember Bust Up has even wrestled a match in your own fed) so I am keen to be able to at least use them in some way albeit limited. Do you think something can be done with this?
Many Thanks
Wayne

the only card that I am missing that I can remember, that I won't be able to get again, would be the Johnny Rockett Interview card.....I had it at one time, but...well...I don't anymore....

I'd love to have all 4 plus the Rocket card.

There's a reason they're called limited editions. If I were in your shoes, I'd certainly want the cards, too. They're pretty cool, but not essential to official GWF storylines.

Exactly. There are hardly any left and so they're sold every now and then on auction at the game site and perhaps by game fans at this board.

To preserve the "value" of the limited edition original print cards, couldn't you do reprinted second editions of them with the new style of back (height, weight, picture, etc.) or using a different ink (like the old blue or green inks from classics/bash sets)?
This way the originals would maintain their collect-ability and anyone could buy the new versions and use them in their feds. I'm sure you would get a lot of people who want to purchase these cards.
Just a thought.

Just a thought. I'd love to get my hands on these cards as well. The problem is that the originals would not maintain their collectability if they were reprinted in any fashion. It would be unfair to those that have these cards (and in some cases paid good money for them via auction) to reprint limited edition cards in any fashion.

I prefer the regular color ink.

Can't we just purchase the stats then? I know what the cards look like from back purchasing the GWF Promoter that featured them. I feel it's a little unfair that some people will never get them. For instance Tyranny, in the handbook says he had matches against Mayhem and someone else I think - Well I would want to play that match in my fed.
I understand maybe not wanting to release the actual card drawings but a compromise on acquiring the stats would be good.

I might be willing to part with one or more of mine, I have them all and might two of one or two of them, if the price(s) are right. Feel free to send me some offers.
