I don't know why, but I keep thinking he's a bat. A giant bat that could rip you apart. I'm pretty sure he's not a bat. Tom mentions in his write up in The Promoter that he must be a strong animal like a bull or an elephant or a rhino, if memory serves. Not to mention Bats are blind. It would be kind of hard for him to wrestle if he's blind. Then again, he does miss "THE END OF ALL THINGS" sometimes. Seriously, I could see him as a bear, ox or a rhino.

I could see this Mr Jimmyface, Although it said he had recieved a cleansing. Its not out of the realm of possibility for Vengeance to have provided the cleansing ritual. All in all he didn't have a great run for me yet as Kill Prey has defeated him. Anyone here think that maybe Havoc has something to do with it? I'm personally still hoping that Vengeance scoops out Havoc's brain and then comes back in his body.

I like the monolith card and storyline and think monolith will be a major player and eventually dominate the gwf like my boy the big show has dominated ecw as of late.It could just be me,as i am a fan of the big man and having a seemingly unbeatable champion that has a long title reign and makes for a big payoff when someone finally does beat him.

I doubt he's a bat also, but I see what looks like pointy bat like ears. And bat just sort of pops in my head. Plus bats aren't blind, plus they have sonar . Great not only do I now think "Bat" ; but Monolith is now using a clicking noise to help find his opponent. You picture that one.

I'd be suprised if Havoc didn't have something to do with it. As for what kinda of Ani-Man, I think he's a T-Rex.

Okay, I haven't gotten the newest set yet, so fill me in.
From the pic, he looks nothing like an Animan, so am I missing something there. Everyone is saying stuff like Rhino, Elephant...would he have chopped his trunk off?!?
The reason is that the other Animen, well they look somewhat like Animals!

Deffinetly, Kill Prey really got lucky in a gimmick match. Normally everything Monolith has done has been a squash like Chaos of old.

Not necessarily looking like a bat, but maybe DNA strains from a bat, T-Rex or whatever. If he's as hyped and heralded like I've witnessed so far, sounds like he has DNA of Hogan for the push and Nash for the booking.

Wow! Monolith is mentioned in the same breath as a bat, Hogan, Nash, Big Show, ECW, and a T-Rex. Crazy stuff here.

Monolith is a drastically underfed Galactus...

Monolith is funny for me....like Chaos, he'll go fora while crushing just about everyone, t hen absolutely lose a match he should have won and then go on a losing streak.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Matador of M83 made up part of the genetics.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Matador of M83 made up part of the genetics. I would. Tom doesn't like to revisit characters that often. I wouldn't be surprised if it were someone like Vengeance, or Mandrill, or maybe even Havoc since those characters have only very recently left the active roster. Matador has been gone for a long time. Tom is coming up with new characters all the time and very rarely needs/wants to use older characters. Usually, you'll only see that when it's needed to tie in with the storyline.

On the AniMan side, he might have a relationship to someone already out there, but I would not be surprised if he didn't.

The Matador is too far gone, not to mention his return would break the no crossing of dimensions thing. But, he's also probably the best "pure" athlete in COTG history, and if I were making a genetic super-being he would top the list. Plus, with Tom, can you really say thier is no way?

I don't expect Mandrill if only because Mark used that for Darwin's Legacy. I am almost positive Monolith will have a tie-in to Havoc. Less sure about Vengeance(why won't he go away?)

What if it isnt Havoc or Vengence but the most under radar Gladiator just left a little sour maybe Thrash. Then Havoc comes back as a face to clear his name.
