Monolith = Mandrill
That is all.

I think Monolith's got Wolf's DNA, personally. It's definitely going to be interesting to see how it plays out, in any case.
Monolith's story really is cool. Definitely one of my all-time favorites.

His story is a good one, but I can't get into the character really. I think it's because of his artwork. It's just a headshot and that's it. Not sure what's meant by just that, but ah well. I was expecting something else out of his pic, and was bummed out by it. Art does have some things to do with a character for me.

If Tom would have gone with a different drawing the "monolithic" effect would not have been felt.
This drawing really makes him feel "big".
SPOILER BELOW...becasue i don't remember if this has been announced elsewhere on the boards...
Tom did say @ G-Con that he would likely release a SE of Monolith. I don't remember if this was something he said in the discussion or just when i was talking to him with a couple of other guys...But if he does i am sure that we'll get a view in the more "classic" feel that some folks have been craving. I can't remember the time frame Tom mentioned, but nonetheless i am sure Monolith will still be a major player when the SE is done. I particularly hope it isn't too soon as i think this one is very good.

I regards to the spoiler above,
If I remember correctly, Tom mentioned this during the GWF Q & A at Galacticon while discussing the evolution of the Monolith card art.

I like the headshot myself, it leaves mystery to his origins that may be played out in the coming of 2122. But we will see.
I base my opinion on : 1. The contempt he showed the other members (something someone of Mandrill's status would do). 2. The fact that Epoch was the reason Mandrill left and his connections with Aethra (makes it seem he could get the cleansing). He would want to get revenge on Epoch. 3. And the fact that he is an Animan, genetic altering could have been done by Barnabus (that could be stretching it though)

I don't know why, but I keep thinking he's a bat. A giant bat that could rip you apart.

Hopefully, Monolith takes regular flea baths and also, use quality flea control products. After all, the GWF does not need a major health problem to develop because of him. Rodents like him has caused many deaths because of the deseased fleas that they carry. Just on Earth alone, the Black plague devested the planet! The GWF does not need Monolith to spread the Black Plague to all the fans that attend the shows. Killing off the fans would be very bad for the GWF.

Also, promoters everywhere should make sure that Monolith has had a flea bath and his rabies shots before coming to your part of the galaxy. The health of your fans and the financial health of your fed depend on it.

I think Monolith is an original being, composed of the DNA of the following wrestlers:
Mandrill (Ani Man) Vengeance (a cleansed Aethran) One or both members of Desolation Factor (both have been transevolved)
I may not be correct in the make up, but I do firmly believe that it is more than one former GWF stars makeup going into the genetic stew.
Personally, I would rather use the DNA of Maxine Babe, Sabre and Phantasy to make a wrestler, but that's just me!

I could see this Mr Jimmyface, Although it said he had recieved a cleansing. Its not out of the realm of possibility for Vengeance to have provided the cleansing ritual.
All in all he didn't have a great run for me yet as Kill Prey has defeated him.

I don't know why, but I keep thinking he's a bat. A giant bat that could rip you apart. I'm pretty sure he's not a bat. Tom mentions in his write up in The Promoter that he must be a strong animal like a bull or an elephant or a rhino, if memory serves.
