Tom I am just thinking out of all the signed wrestlers whom were or are you most excited about, and who are your top five wrestlers in the history of wrestling?
P.S. I just thought you would be interested to know I have the 100 best wrestlers in history mag, and in the LOW so are we have 27 of them which I thought was exceptional.

Glad to hear we have 27 to this point. Many of the rest aren't as hard to sign as people might think. Is your question my favorite five wrestlers in history or who I feel are the top five in history? I need to know so I can decide whether the Duke of Dorchester is in there.

This is an unofficial answer off the top of my head for the top wrestlers of all time (I'm sure Tim Dalton or Chad Olson could give a better answer):
In no order:
Ric Flair Buddy Rogers Harley Race Strangler Lewis Hulk Hogan
As for my favorites in no order:
Johnny Valentine The Sheik Bobo Brazil Jimmy Snuka Sabu
Tag-Team: Road Warriors and Kangaroos

As for my favorites in no order: Johnny Valentine The Sheik Bobo Brazil Jimmy Snuka Sabu Tag-Team: Road Warriors and Kangaroos I have to say I am a little surprised to see Sabu on the list. I have personally never seen the Kangaroos, but am interested in seeing their cards and perhaps a match at the Sheldon house if Tim is bringing any.

It's not exactly accurate: I enjoyed watching what I believe was the SECOND version of the Kangaroos. The originals, Costello and Heffernan, are coming in LEGENDS TEAMS. I saw Costello and I forgot the other guy's name who replaced Heffernan, although I'd recognize the name in an instant. PS- The fifth spot among my favorites is always changing and depends on my mood!

Actually you may have preferred the 3rd version of the Kangaroos. Ray St. Clair was Costello's 2nd partner IIRC then Don Kent replaced him.

That's it! Bulldog Don Kent. I'd like to do a card for him someday so they have a three-man team.

Any list of "Top 5" or "Top 10" is always going to be very subjective. Could be based on ability, drawing power, longevity as a headliner, etc. Really gets complex when you throw international guys into the mix. It would be hard to argue with anyone's list, provided they don't have someone really goofy in there.
As far as my favorites (although no one really asked): Johnny Powers (shocking) Magnificent Muraco Ric Flair Bobo Brazil Superstar Billy Graham
Tag teams would probably be British Bulldogs or Dan Kroffat & Doug Furnas (Japan version before Kroffat's knees were shot).

We've really got to make a pitch for that Johnny Powers card. Add Ernie Ladd into the mix and wow!
Muraco trades off for that #5 spot among my favorites. The other four are solid.

I want Kent and Powers badly. Tom's book got me into not just wanting but needing a Johnny Powers card.

Ok so if we had Don Kent and Kensuke Sasaki we could have 3 amazing 3 man teams. Sasaki of course teamed with Hawk in New Japan as the Hell Raisers.
I too am really surprised to see Sabu on that list.
I have another question for you, Tom. What are your favorite LOW wrestlers to play with. I personally love the Sheik and Youssuf Ishmaelo. I feel that their take not prisoners style/attitude was perfectly achieved in those cards. Any time I roll a 6 on level 3 offense for Sheik I have to go for it. The fireball is just such a devestating thing that I can't not roll for it.

To be honest, I always go for any moves like The Sheik's FIREBALL. I'm sure if the wrestler had the chance to do it, they'd go for it as well!!

This guy's story in the handbook is SO great. Makes me wish I could've seen him in action. The Sheik is just plain great. One of the most intriguing characters ever in wrestling. When I get around to playing LOW full time someday, these 2 have gotta have a feud!
