Hi Tom/Mark and all promoters! I'm intrigued into the Galaxy product of COTG. I play Legends and am enjoying it. It also happens to be the only COTG product I have time for currently, however with a PC version coming out at some point I would like to experience more Galaxy wrestling and follow the storylines. What do you reccomend? Do I start from the beginning, start New beginnings, CPC, ACE? Will I be missing out on the rich history if I do this? Also, since my question is linked to a PC product, will those stats and art work be imputted into a downloadable file after purchase? I love LOW for its rich history but I do miss GWF (I have up to 2100) and the creativity that comes with it. It also makes playing easier in a way because if you don't have time to be plotting storylines you can always just follow the basic fueds in the booklet. Please help! -Thanks!

Anyway you decide to play you can't go wrong. A must is running the GWF at least from the original starting point of 2087, if not using the Early Classics edition and beginning at 2074.
As far as the computer game goes, nothing at all has been said about its format or anything. I would kind of be against downloading files as I only have dial up and don't really see having anything faster in the near future. But it's really too early to speculate on anything at all, the pc version of Champions is most likely not going to be seen this year.

I agree with Ty, any of the starting points are a sure bet. If you want to go the historic route then EC or 2087 would do perfectly, I have yet to try EC, but 2087 has the classic feuds that made COTG what it is today Star Warrior v. Thantos, Nexus v. Krakan, etc. 2119 is a great starting point as well if you are just wanting to jump into some action without worrying about any of the past history. Whichever you choose, your imagination will be your key guide.

Thanks for your input guys! It's great to see that your enjoying your gameplay. When I wrote the question down I was motivated by the creativity of how COTG has evolved and how the storylines have evolved too. This has come frm reading the GWF forums. To be honest with you I've had a bit of trouble recently getting my LWF games going, I'm stuck on a tornament arrangement for the first secondary singles belt title to be introduced. I'm still on rematch at the moment so I don't want to fall to far back. I want to add some GWF play, I'll either start with the original sets that I have and work my way up to 2100 and make a decision then or make a fed comprised of my favourite 'humanlike' characters and put more time into Legends. I haven't even made any official stables for my LWF wrestlers yet. It's not running at its full potential.

YOu can't go wrong in any combination. At the moment I am running a Legends fed and recently got back into CotG and am starting in 2087. However I am looking at starting a Classics era game once I get deeper into the GWF timeline. Then use Classics as a look into the past at some great matches, almost a retrospective if you will. Either way have fun with it!

I am strongly leaning toward doing two COTG feds. I am currently finishing 2099 (I should be at 2100 by the middle of the week).
But since I have 2119 and 2120 and all of the aCe stuff, I think I might also start up a 2119 COTG and a 2119 aCe fed. That way I can be more or less current and still work on completing an entire fed history. I already figured out how I can tie everything neatly together once I complete the years 2100-2118 to connect everything that has happened in my fed from 2074 to whatever the cuurent game year will be at that time.
