Quick question...in the latest issue of the Promoter, the Main Event column says that guys like Mark, Kris, and "anyone who has contributed to Filsinger Games in the past" is prohibited from entering the drawing. Does this include past winners of the Create-a-Character contest, too? It makes perfect sense if it does, and I'm fine with that. I just don't want to show up at GalactiCon without having considered anything for Promoter Madness, only to find out my name's been picked.

Pete created Halcon Oro, one of the create a character winners from a decade ago. I would agree that Pete, Sam and the other CAC winners should not be included in the drawing, so that more people have a chance at being immortalized.
And I think the winners will have plenty of time to figure out their character, we won't all have to come to G-con with an idea. Although I'm sure many of us will. I will probably have 3-4 ideas and put up a poll should I be one of the lucky ones.

I am looking forward to it. Fingers crossed that either my wife or I will win a slot. I plan on aiding the lack of women in the GWF/CPC/aCe.

Yes, that is correct. Anyone who has won a contest in the past and had a character officially created by Filsinger Games will not be allowed to participate in the new contest. We want new blood! We want to give 15 loyal promoters a chance to strut their stuff! I can't wait to see how it turns out!
