Hey Tom Im sitting here on my lunch hour and got an easy idea for a book that I think would be a hot seller (no it's not my unused art book, but again I think thats a great idea)
My idea is to take all the handbooks and just print them in novel form. You know how most comics every so many years release like a book with all the issues in a handy book. Why not take all the handbooks and make one big book for people that want to read the story, lost one or two of the handbooks, or us neat freaks who would rather have an organized book collection of the handbooks. If you get bored one weekend you can just sit down and read the entire history straight through.

I don't know that there would be that big of an audience for that. Most people who play the game would have the handbooks, or would have read them before, or would have the majority of them.
And most people who don't play the game would likely have little to no interest in the storylines behind it.
It's a good idea, because I, like you, would read it for sure. But I just don't think there is a wide enough audience for it.

I think the best way to handle it would be to rewrite a lot of the handbooks to provide some narrative consistency and transitions. Otherwise it won't read like a novel but instead like several disjointed handbooks, which they are. That being said, I can't imagine I'd have the time to do it, although I think it's a good idea.

Heck, thats too much work I would be fine if you just printed them all out as they are.

Yeah, it would be cool to see it written differently, expanding some of the earlier years and the like. But time probably relegates that to a dream.

Agreed...it is a good idea...a great way to expand on the story past the limited space in the handbooks. But alas, i also agree that there would definitely be a limited audience for this and Tom does need to sleep and do those fatherly things every once in a while...not to mention get his softball in too!
But i would love to see a book on un-used art too! With the stories to go along as to why Tom passed on them...would love to add Mark to that project as well with cPc art...
