I ordered Early Classics and Genesis today. Expect next week to see the beginning of Mello's Galactic Wrestling Federation! I can't wait to read the history behind these guys!
BTW, I was looking through my 2 volumes of GWF Files...what year did Mangus officially start in GWF...sorry I can't wait for the new set.

You did the right thing JMello! You'll love this era.
Mangus started in the GWF in 2077.
Have fun!

Here's some of the rules I was looking to implement...
-Title Holders get a three count to kick out of a pin (meaning they have to roll below their pin 3 times in a row) *BTW I'm a fan of long title reigns and this actually doesn't help as much as it sounds, but it's still good -No Choice Situations until after they've wrestled for at least 5 tokens (that allows them to get to know each other in the ring) -Defensive tags may only be used by official tag teams; even then only 3 times a match -A person who defeats a champ by DQ or Countout will get a rematch -Only one match (randomly selected) will be capable of having someone get injured; an injury only occurs if doubles end the match.
Here's a list of some of my bigger cards... First Blood (First show each year) Rigel Rumble (My Royal Rumble) Galacticon (My Wrestlemania) Random Violence (Matches are randomly selected, so there's no time to prepare) Probable Cause (Held towards end of the year...card is based soley on W/L record) Last Chance (Last Card of the Year) *Implemented after characters from these places enter GWF Aethrean Pride Great Andromeda Bash

Sounds like you're psyched.... Thought I'd share a couple things on your house rules, and give you a few options -- on defensive tags, I add 1 to pin if they attempt it (from lvl 2or lvl3 only).. I find it works a lot better this way.. . although your idea seems good too, making it sorta like a pin save. -- Very interesting conept for the choice charts... I may try it. I current use the chart every other time it comes up, to get the full variety of moves... 5 tokens is a little high seems like, but I'd have to try it to see -- I use the -1 to pin for Champions .. I've always though the 3 roll thing is a bit much.. from other threads, I'd asy it was a pretty even split between each, among people who use a champion's advantage. looking forward to seeing your fed over on the fed forum

Omega is the man in my EC. He is a 6 time champion and so far he is the longest reining champion... that all changes once Chaos comes to wrestling.

I'd never give champions any special advantage like this, as COTG is real wrestling and therefore title reigns are Hobbesian: nasty, brutish and short. This sounds like a very cool concept. Do you have feuds only, or are opponents randomly selected as well?

It's really up to you promoter...the idea behind Random Violence is pretty similar to WWE's New Year Revolution...only this truly is random..if you want to continue a feud then make it a random type of match; i.e. Cosmic Cage, Titan Death Match, etc....if you want to have a grudge with a champ push that he won't know whom he is facing on the PPV and draw a name out of a hat or give each wrestler numbers and use a random number generator like I do usually...www.randomizer.org is what I use...in fact I don't roll dice, I just do a big 1-6 page full of #'s print it out and that saves me having to use dice.
