Tom, why not expand on the photos section in the COTG website to include more photos of promoters, artists, the Galacticon gatherings, etc.? I'm assuming you (or someone) has quite a collection of pics, and I would imagine many promoters would be happy to send pictures of themselves (playing the game, at the Con or just to reveal who they are).
Also, I'd personally love to see a section on the site titled "Birth of a COTG Superstar". In it, you and an artist show the initial artwork and stats for a COTG card, and explain what changed and why. You could even show the creation of an upcoming star/card in the weeks before the release of a new edition.
I'd love to hear what you and the staff at Filsinger Games think of these ideas, and I'd like some promoter feedback. Imagine a page dedicated to photos of promoters across the country and another page featuring the artistic/creative process behind creating Monolith (for example). What do you think?

Ringsyde, I like the idea. I do plan on doing something similar shortly.. kind of a "State of the Union" address for myself.. I would like promoters to know who THEIR editor is for the GWF Promoter.. You know something brief.. how long I have been playing.. current fed champs.. how I play out game years (which is completely different than majority of players.. GWF has seen nearly 2000 cards over the course of 8 1/2 game years) .. etc.. etc.. if I can find a decent photo then maybe that as well.. I figured it would be better to inform those of who I am here than take up precious space in the Promoter. If all goes well.. I am shooting for typing something up by next weekend.. and I will talk to Tom and see what we can do.. Oh .. and I can't wait to see if one of my ideas really comes to light.. I am so excited about it..
Your humble editor John K.

Judging by what's been said so far, it really sounds like we should bring back the Promoter Spotlight feature in the Promoter. This would give game fans a chance to meet each other and share a photo of themselves too.
Photos from GalactiCorn 2006 will be put up at the web site shortly so watch for them!
Thanks John for all the hard work and enthusiasm you've put into the Promoter.
