How much impact does Tom's Fed figure into the writing of the game? I remember Tom saying that the outcome of the Cosmic Battle had nothing to do with his personal fed,but is that always the case?

Doesn't look like it does most of the time, but that's just from what I've seen.

In some cases Yes...sometimes it has a very strong impact. Maybe one day Tom will write about it...maybe in his next book...

Looking back, this is one of the few areas I wish I'd brought up in The Dark Menace but didn't. Here's the skinny:
My fed plays an important role in writing the games. It gives me a feel for which characters I like, which ones I don't care for, which feuds work nicely, which new feuds might work nicely, which characters might make a good new team...etc. Playing is a very important part of my creative process, even if it's nebulous and would be kind of a "backround noise" in my head.
In fact, just about EVERYTHING in life is backround noise in my head.
