...to go to Wrestle Reunion instead of NWA Fanfest. Both have some great guests, But I guess you can't do it all! ;-) Some names at WrestleReunion that I would LOVE to see in Legends:

DDP, The Dudleys, Dennis Condrey, Bret Hart (duh!), Muraco, Bruno, Zbysko (I guess already signed), Dusty, Dory and Terry Funk, Ivan Koloff, Stan Hansen, J J Dillon (already signed?), The Samoans, Steve Williams, and Tito Santana.

Do you think you could take care of those small requests for me? ;-)

Tom went over all of this and a great number of names at Galacticon and now he is concentrating on making a few calls rather than taking any requests on who he might or who he should, or who he could sign etc...to 'Legends'.

It's just one of those perks from going to GCON.

I checked out the roster of stars. Wow, that's a great list. Hopefully, Tom will go home with a stack of signatures so large he'll have to buy an extra plane ticket to get them home.

On a personal note, growing up with Memphis wrestling, I'd love to see Jimmy Hart and Lance Russell in the game.

It was covered in detail in the Dark Menace book. He was calling legends to try to get people for the first edition of the game. Denucci didn't believe his spiel and asked who else he had talked to. Tom mentioned the name of Bruno Sammartino and Denucci instantly called him a liar. To quote the book :

"He boldy said 'You're a liar"in a tone that implied that Bruno Sammartino lived on Mount Olympus and didn't speak to mere mortals like me. I figured we were going nowhere and hastily thanked him for his time, got off the phone and onto the next contact."

There's a lot of guys I'd like to sign at Wrestle Reunion 2...but the great unknown factor is how much access the conventioni organizers will allow. I've found organizers to run a continuum from very open and supportive to overly technical and restrictive. I wish I had a feel for it, but I don't, which is already a bad sign that they're hard to talk to.

Anyway, it's worth a shot. I hope to see some of you there.
