Tom, I know you said that you were trying to get to Wrestlereunion. Did you go? How was it? Did you get any big signings?

Tom was there, as was I. It was a good 'con to talk to wrestlers, and I saw him talking to virtually every wrestler at the event. I don't know who signed for sure and who didn't, but I did see more than one guy carrying the LOW boxed set around. If nothing else, Tom made some good contacts, as he seemed to get along with a lot of the guys. I'm pretty sure that a number of them did sign or will in the near future.
I wanted to be able to post some of the signings here, but Tom's tight-lipped about these things sometimes. Maybe we'll see some announcements soon, but it also may take a while for some of these guys to get back to Tom.

Look for Matt Hardy to job out (maybe as earlier tonite) again for attedning W.R., when the WWE clearly wanted him to work weekend house show events.
I understand hardy had a prior commitment to WR but seriously...can this guy make any right decisions?

It wouldn't surprise me, but my understanding is that he did wrestle Edge in a house show last night that ended in a double DQ or no contest after they brawled into the stands.

I've got an update about the convention at Tom's Brain with some signings mentioned. I hope that is good enough for now. There are other possible signings in the works which makes it more likely that a Legends edition will be released sometime around January. That's not a promise...just a thought.

A friend of mine that was there said he also saw Tom talking with Rhyno. I would be good with Rhyno signing someday.

I spoke with many wrestlers who made no commitments at the con...it was a whirlwind of activity and they wanted to go home and talk about the game at length with me by phone. I'll be following up and I've already spoken with a couple, but some can't sign due to other commitments, like Dusty Rhodes and the Dudleys (WWE issues) to name a few.
I'm optimistic that Legends 5 will be released in January, but don't quote me on that. It's my goal. As for a theme, none has emerged yet. It might simply be a "Legends Rematch" type edition with a no real theme other than great wrestlers and playing cards!
I'll spend another month or so speaking with wrestlers and then I'll speak with Chad, Tim, and Stu about what directions we might go. Stay tuned! Legends Madness will never end! We're going to keep the history of wrestling alive...the RIGHT WAY.

I think the Legends ringside companion will be released in October. The same with two Legends LE cards.

Awesome. I can't wait. I don't use specialty matches all that much but when I do it will be nice to have a bunch more to choose from. Plus 2 LEs. I don't even really care who it is, I am excited no matter what.
