Celebrity Slam Edition Alice Cooper Charles Bronson John Wayne Arnold Swartchensenzenegger David Boreanaz Ben Affleck Christian Bale Abraham Lincoln Slyvester Stallone Steve McQueen

I doubt very many stars if any at all would agree to do it but a cool idea.

This would be an interesting idea for a set
Arnold+Stalone would make interesting wrestlers and I wouldn't mind seeing Alice Cooper as a manager
Abraham Lincoln-Has been done as a Bootleg

LMAO!! Imagine the David Arquette card as a jobber, even holding the old WCW World Heavyweight Title! He could be the next Pollux! Also, don't forget a Vince Russo card, so everyone in both the GWF and LWF can show AND tell him just how much he really sucks.

Vince Russo is a former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, too. Well, that really sucks.

OK here are some of my thoughts on the above purposed list:
Alice Cooper - yeah baby! He would make a cool manager-style. Imagine him against Jim Cornette!
Charles Bronson - Ummm, of the top of my head I can't see why.
John Wayne - Could be cool. One of his moves could be the "I ain't gonna hit ya punch" or something.
Arnold Swartchensenzenegger - Is that how you spell his last name? Darn I feel sory for Californai kindergardeners now. Anyway, could make an enteresting card.
David Boreanaz - The Buffy/Angel fan in me screams YES! While the more logical part of my brain (if such a creature even exists) says why?
Ben Affleck - Only if we get a tag team with Matt Daimen.
Christian Bale - who?
Abraham Lincoln - Done, and I don't have it. Would like to see one done just for the LWF though actually named Abraham Lincoln. Finisher name could be THE EMANCIPATOR!
Slyvester Stallone - Sly and AHNALD would be a killer team-up. And the crys for a Rambo v.s. Terminator would be cool.
Steve McQueen - Maybe..just maybe...
Britney Spears & Anna Kournikova - Cool, if only to see Britney beaten bloody by Bruiser Brody and Anna get a Budwieser Body Shot from the Sandman!
But we're forgeting some folks arn't we? Former WCW Heavyweight Champion David Arquette has been mentioned, but what of some others? Carl Malone and Rodzilla? Jay Leno? Zeus (Hey, it was a movie role)? Michael Clark Duncan? Bruce Willis? Clint Eastwood (if only for a fued with John Wayne)? Pete Rose? And probably the coolest celebrity not on this list right now...ANDY F'N KAUFMAN!!!

I could see Tom creating a GWF character *based* on Alice Cooper since they are friends but besides that this is a really stupid idea...

How cannot you know Christian Bale ... the new Batman???
Swarm ... I don't know I got bored, when I get bored I lose focus quickly and for some reason got a picture in my head of Britney Spears being slammed into a barbed wire cage by Kournikova and then I used an old GWF simulator to create a womens celeb fed and the same thing happened, it was funny then .... probably just disturbing now. Though I just got a great image of Kournikova breaking her tennis racket over Spears head.

I mean, I alone have my hands full with th GWF all by itself. When aCe comes out I play that. i throw in a few CPC cards here and there but not often... one day I want to play Legends...for me, that is a WORK-LOAD. besides...I know Tom wouldn't go for it so it's pointless anyways.

Meh..an Andy Kaufman card would work well in a Legends set, especially alongside a Jerry Lawler card. But otherwise, what purpose would a bunch of actors serve within the confines of the COTG universe?

Actually PureHatred I kind of like that idea ... that is brillant, has anyone ever told you your a genius ... I would buy a legends set if it included Kaufman.

I would like to chime in since I have been playing with the idea for a bit now. My set would include the following: Andy Kaufmann: I'm from Hollywood was ahead of his time. I would suggest Reynard B Guile type move set. Can you imagine any of the gwf or low women bouncing the intergender wrestling champion around?
Pete Rose as he still searches for a way to get even with kane. maybe as a manager trying to earn his way into the low or gwf or cpc hall of fame
Alice cooper is a must for any set.
Henry Winkler: Check out his wrestling movie
Dirk Benedict: Body slam ties him into wrestling forever!
Laurene Landon, Vicki Frederick, Tracy Reed, and Ursala Bryant King of All the Marbles.
Debby Harry: Always deep down longed to be a wrestler, also played in a wrestling off broadway play
Former WCW Champion David Arquette
Chuck Norris: Special referee/ wrestler (I got a computer game that has norris and arquette programmed in along with around 10,000 other wrestlers Rampage Wrestling Game)
Maybe a Billy Martin managing card
Bob Euker interview card with the statement "I know why you guys love it here so much, man look at Hunger" and " he hit him in the boiler"
and Raquel Welch: why her cause she looked so good in her roller derby out fit

I think I'd rather stick to "celebrities" from 2120 and so on making appearances in the GWF. Like the following .... Darkos was an accomplished actor before joining the GWF. Quasar was an superstar Gravity Ball athlete. Massif was an olympic weightlifter. I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting. I guess I wouldn't mind seeing someone create some bootleg versions of celebrities from the 22nd century, but I don't see how celebrities from Earth in 2005 would mix in with the GWF. I do like the Andy Kaufman in the LWF idea however

I welcome anybody's ideas on these boards, but as for a celebrity set, I agree there is probably a 99.9% chance it will never happen. Even IF it were to ever be produced by Tom, it might just be the one COTG/LOW set I wouldn't purchase. If you want a celeb in your fed, just make up a quick bootleg of him. There really wouldn't be much in the lines of move guidelines (for someone who has not wrestled), so innaccuracy wouldn't be a problem. But I will say this, if I were to ever want a bootleg of a celeb/actor etc., I would want one for the guy who played the warden in Shawshank Redemption lol just to see him get his a$$ whooped. Anyway, my two cents. Peace!

Hi I was the nutter that started the Alice Cooper idea . Personally a celebrity edition is too much . To make the gimmick work , you only need 1 or 2 at the most . You could not use them all the time . Just the odd PPVs ? . Otherwise you'd have John Wayne as your heavyweight champion . Then I think the men in white coats would have me thrown into the back of van .

Maybe I'm weird, but I couldn't care if a Celebrity Set ever does get released, we all know it really won't. It's just fun right now to play "What If". Just my two cents...
Anyhoo, there's also Mr. T (WM-1), Mike Tyson (WM-Whatever), Andy Kaufman would be great, and I DID see that Winkler wrestler movie, because I remember him being a German in one of his gimmicks! So, Winkler would have to be in. Euker would be in, he's a classic. Then maybe you could go the route of a Limp Bizkit band card, and a Run DMC (WM-5), Motorhead (WM-17), KISS (WCW). The Fridge William Perry (in that WWF vs NFL Battle Royal) would be a cool card. I know there's more...
