Hey Tom
Have you been in contact with the families of legends that died early for the game like
Ravishing Rick Rude Flying Brian Pillman Owen Hart The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy Yokozuna/Kokina Maximus
Just to name a few of recently deceased stars
They would be all be great additions to the LOW as well but unsure if there is a way to get them

Jim,
No, none of those wrestlers yet. Maybe later this summer after GalactiCon.

The harts would be a sweet addition to the legends set.Since your talking about the British Bulldog and Owen Hart, why not Stu Hart-the family patriarch? The freebirds would be cool too!

Tom, if it's not a trade secret or anything, I'd like to know how you make contacts with the families for deceased legends and how they treat you when you pitch Legends to them. Are they difficult in asking for royalties from the cards or charge a premium for the wrestler's likeness? A famous families set would be cool. The Harts have been mentioned, but I'd think a Von Erich pack would sell well.

Every family is different. Some are concerned about royalties, others are thrilled to have the memory of the wrestler be honored and remembered. In the latter category was the wife of Buddy Rogers and the son of Yukon Eric, among others. Those families are a pleasure to work with because they are thrilled to be involved.
I make contact with these families through other people. Somebody like Mike Lano will give me a phone number of email address and I'll follow up. Other times it's our own staff, like Tim Dalton and Chad Olson, who help with contact info.
