Plus I'm good at drawing established GWF talent. See my Mayhem, Enigma, and Vyper Outlaw Edition cards I did a while back for an example. Enigma/Vyper should actually be in the bootleg section somewhere.
Yes, I'd like to take a crack at drawing at least one pic for this project. I know the Crippler is involved...but I'd still love a shot. ;D

I think Troy's done stats for good Thantos/evil Star Warrior before, but We could defintely still give it a shot.. I got another idea I might post later, depending on how much work I get done in the next couple hours

I did a quick look, and I didn't see the Good Thantos I thought was there, so someone should DEFINATELY do that.. here's my contribution: The Cetan Crippler Dateline: February 2087 After initially refusing Omega's offer to joing the FDF, Mighty Grogan sees that Thantos' villians seem to have the upper hand, and agrees to join the FDF. Thinking he was taking the pressure off his newest member, Omega suggested Massif join the Space Croppers, and help them keep Vanity and Killer Queen in check. Massif, who had been on a bit of a losing streak, agreed, but the wily Thantos saw an opening, and began whispers of how Omega was holding him down, to push his friends and his son over a man who obviously had more talent. On GWF War zone, Massif turned on the Space Croppers in a six-man tag match against the Royal Court, Cracking Renegade's ribs with a devastating bear hug... thus the Cetan Crippler is born. He is determined to show that his COSMIC CRIPPLER is the far superior move to the UPPER CRUSH. The Crippler is feuds with the FDF and the Space Croppers, and forms and occassional tag team with the Executioner called the Hatchetmen. WRESTLER NAME: Cetan Crippler | Height:6' 5 1/2''Weight:380 Home: Cetus | Level 1 Offense | Level 1 Defense | 1. Shove to the ground - 1 2. Forearm to face - 1 3. Clothesline - 2 (ag) 4. Arm drag takedown - 2 (ch A) 5. Body Slam - 2 6. "Old School" rope walk - 3 (ag) | 1. CRIPPLER - 1 2. CRIPPLER - 2 3. CRIPPLER - 1 4. hurt - 2 5. dazed - 1 (tag) 6. CRIPPLER - 1 | Level 2 Offense | Level 2 Defense | 1. Hair pull to the ground - 2 2. Into the Turnbuckle (c) 3. Vertical Suplex - 2 4. Head Butt - 2 5. Crippler Thrust - 3 6. Volcanic Drop - 3 | 1. Dazed - 1 2. CRIPPLER - 2 3. hurt - 2 4. hurt - 2 5. CRIPPLER - 1 6. CRIPPLER - 2 | Level 3 Offense | Level 3 Defense | 1. Arm Crippler - 2 2. Out of the Ring 3. Airplane Spin- 3 (ch G) 4. Spinebuster - 3 5. Leg Crippler - 3 6. COSMIC CRIPPLER(+2/+4)* | 1.hurt - 2 2. PIN 7(4) 3. down - 3 (lv) 4. Hurt - 2 5. Hurt - 2 6. Hurt - 2 | Ropes -- C Turnbuckle -- B Ring -- A Deathjump -- C Disqualification -- 6 | Agility --+1 Power -- -4 Cage --3 |
Crippler Thrust : Mocking version of Omega's Tomahawk Thrust Arm Crippler : Combo Half Nelson/Hammerlock Leg Crippler: Single Leg Boston Crab Cosmic Crippler: Bear Hug where Crippler hold the man high enough so he can deliver head butts to the chin as he grinds the hold. * The Crippler is a +4 against opponents with PW of 0 or worse, and +2 otherwise. Against FDF members, Crippler will refuse to break the hold, even if his opponent gets to the ropes. Roll DQ 7 if an attempt with the Crippler is unsuccessful. I tried to make the stats compatible with the 2087 set, so that's why he's not as good as some might think he should be... He's around 30 on the Rahl scale. Suggestions are welcome

A heel Massif? Wow. what a cool card. and how the heck could I not like a guy with a such a ingeniously named finisher? Good work bro. Also I'd love to see Brandon get back into drawing. Have always been a fan. Plus the more variety we get into these cards the better.

Good stuff Wildfire. Massif is one of the guys from the original edition that I thought could use a redesign. He was a cool character, but he was never really developed too much .... until way after he retired. In my opinion anyway.
Am thinking of making Massif Redesign Challenge #1. I think there could be some pretty cool ideas for him.

I'd call him the Cetus Shooter instead of the Cetan Crippler.

I'd call him the Cetus Shooter instead of the Cetan Crippler. Funny you should say that... I considered that, but I thought it wasn't EVIL enough. Maybe an 2089 update for when Thantos pushes him around too much and Grogan retires...

As a few of you know, I have some art finished for some wrestlers. I have some stats for a couple of them but not sure where we are in this project. I might produce a set of the ones Ive done if we dont go forward with this. Either way, they will come out for the COTG maniacs to see and use. =) NCAA TOURNAMENT STARTS TODAY!!!!!!!!!!

I'd pushed Tongsoon so much harder if he's had a better pic. *Hint*

I've had a really busy month (work and women), but this project is the first thing on my plate for next month.
Well, after Wrestlemania that is.

Sounds like fun, sorta like some of Troy's stuff, only if EVERYONE gets involved, it could be really interesting! Yeah, I definitely had Troy in mind on this one. And Wildman too, if he's still around. Im still here. Or am i there? I dont know, its late and im tired

I may be interested in helping with the artwork since there are alot of characters artwork that I dont care for.
I also have an idea on how we can post the card. I could create the artwork in Black & White add the stats and post it as a PDF on my website on the downloads page so it will always be available to get and print out to who ever wants it.
Let me know what you guys think

I know it's not a redesign per say, but I'd love to see wrestler stats for the Terrorists. I don't recall who they were exactly (Ghengis Khan & De Sade?), but I always thought they worked cool as Mercel De Sade and Mutant. I always wished Tom would of done more with them other then the interference card.

They were originally Khan and De Sade. Later De Sade retired and Montrol took his spot.
