When Lance At-Las was brainwashed, Murdock left Meteor behind saying he was worthless. Meteor joined up with a rebel unit of Centrans opposing Murdock. He quickly rose up the ranks to become the leader. His new attitude is reflected in his new brawling style.

There was a second or two way back when Meteor almost WASN'T a nasty old zombie. He probably would've ended up something like this.
