It's usually this time a year I extend my annual "Red Wings Suck" bet for the playoffs.
I am willing to put up 1k to anyone that The Red Wings will not win the Stanley Cup this year.
And if they don't lose in the first round, but lose, I will buy you the next ten GWF game editions.
I made $4300.00 last year doing this.

Well, currently they are 2 points out of first place, and right behind Nashville, Buffalo and Anaheim for best overall record in the league. So it's not a matter of them "sucking" as much as it is just being a soft team that coasts through the regular season every year and then gets exposed when the going gets tough. |

I honestly could care less about the Wings. As long as the Pens or Lightning don't win the cup I'll be happy, even though my and Darikrider's Flyers are looking to the Draft.

I think what Swarm was proposing is that if the Red Wings lose in the 2nd, 3rd or Final round, then he will buy the other person GWF editions. Kind of a close but no cigar rebate on losing the bet.

they are an choking team the red wings are. Choke as they might they still have 3 stanley cups since 1997 and are probably one of the proudest orginizations in the NHL. |

The last couple years the Wings have gotten bounced in the first round it has been against a team with a hot goaltender.
If Hasek can stay healthy and find his zone, the Red Wings should do just fine come playoff time.
