As I write this, my mom is lying in ICU in critical condition with a severe case of pneumonia.
Not to be a "downer", but don't ever take for granted the special people in your life. Life is too precious and fragile.

Well as I mentioend in my thread, my wife and I lost our granddaughter, so we definitely are treating life preciously. In a way, it's kind of freeing.

Sorry to hear, CakeJedi. I hope your mother pulls through this okay.
And you're right; family is always important (and family includes those friends close enough that they're a part as well) and should never be taken for granted.

cakejedi im praying for your family im praying that she gets well soon.im sorry to here that your Mom in ICU.im going to pray everynight that she will be better and get out of ICU and back home hanging out with the family.

Thank you for all of the well-wishes and prayers. My mom still needs them.
I want to thank Tom, Rob, and Werner for Promoter Madness. I showed my mom the artwork for Cuddley Claw. And even though she is on a respirator and cannot talk, she smiled when she saw the picture. That smile was worth more than a million dollars to me. So thank you to Tom, Rob, and Werner for giving my mom something to smile about in the middle of a very difficult time.
