Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to it...The weather is nice (it's been a nasty combination of wind, snow and rain all week), and I don't work tonight for a change...  Just got off work actually, and the night went well...I was very pleased throughout, so much so that I cranked the music up which is a not-supposed-to-do...But whatever, I was having fun... I did Goodzilla, thanks...  Okay, since I have time; Birthday story... I found it really odd that when I bowled Sunday night (I'm vice-president of our league, that's why I have to miss so many Pay Per Views) I'd been active for about 24 hours, having not slept the previous day (night off) and yet it was my best night of bowling ever... Now, I'll get the fact that it's only 5-pin bowling out of the way, we don't have ten-pin lanes around here...So I'm not going to brag at all...But the stats of my outing speak for themselves... My average is 166 (498 triple)...Sunday night, I wasn't feeling 100% because of having no sleep...I think the only thing that made it good was the big birthday meal I had before hand (cake and icecream really wake me up I guess)...Anyway, first game I had 121 in the 7th frame, which is really bad for me, and I figured there was no way I'd get my average, so you know, there's always game two...I looked at the scoreboard and noticed that if I didn't get my average we would lose terribly...So I ended with a 202 (we still lost though because someone on the other team with a lower average than mine bowled a 275)... Game two, not bad for me, although a friend of mine who is always very competitive with me finished his game with a 264 (97 over average)...I stepped up a bit and finished with a 217... Going into the third game, I wasn't following up on my first two strikes as well as I'd hoped...I decided I wanted to one-up my friend (which I rarely care about doing, but hey, it's my birthday, I deserve it  , because he wanted to beat his average by 100 and was "disappointed" with "Only" beating it by 97  ....I decided that beating my average by 100 was probably not going to happen so I did some quick math in my head and thought "Well, maybe I can still beat my triple by 200...Which with my current scores would require me to beat my average by 113 (d'oh)... So...long story uh...shorter...I ended my last game of the night with a 292..!! Now, that beats my average by 126, which also beats my triple by 213, and it ALSO was the first 700+ I've ever bowled...I was proud...It was a good night.... |

Happy Birthday SC! Sorry for the lateness of this, but just saw it. I just have one question...5 pin bowling, WTF is that? Crazy Canadians.
