I have to apologize...

For the performances by the South Detroit Swarm the past few weeks in Grumpy Big Bee's Fantasy Football COTG Keeper League.

First of all, it was completely uncalled for to pile up 853 large on the league this year, it displayed a tremendous lack of respect and demonstrated total disregard for the integrity of the league. Swarm management is deeply remorseful and will take steps to prevent such a slapdown in the future.

Then comes the actions of my team this past weekend where we unlawfully pilfered a victory from the highly esteemed Abingdon Gunslingers franchise, who deserved but did not receive a better fate...

The decision to squat C. Dillon and the savant-like performance of S. Moss vs. Atlanta could have, and should have gone the other way. I am once again embarrassed and find it most unfortunate that this contest unfolded in such a manner.

If it were possible to forfeit this undeserving win, I certainly would do so. Since I cannot, however, I will have to reluctantly accept what my team has done and move on and concentrate on what I’m sure will be a pummeling of the Knights in week 1 of the playoffs…

Yeah, I'm sure your heart bleeds for them, Swarm.

I'd almost be convinced of the tears if I didn't hear your maniacal cackle all the way down here in FL.

Then again, if my team completely annihilated my opponents like that, I'd be "feeling for the poor souls" as well.
