It looks like Ringsyde has deleted his account (or it was deleted by one of the mod's but I can't see why they would).
It's a shame that people get so enraged over people that have different opinions than them on our wrestling discussion board that they fell the need to "take their ball and go home."
As much as I may not have agreed with Rings on his last "heated debate", it's silly to get that worked up over something like that. That's one of the problems with the written word. You can't infer tone like you can when you actually speak to someone.
Hope one day, he can get over it and rejoin the group.

I dont think any of the mods deleted his account. I know I didn't
Haven't heard anything from him on the boards since Galacticon

I only delete accounts that are perma-banned (and Ringsyde received no such punishment), inactive for extended periods of time (and not higher than Curtain Jerker), or duplicates of active accounts. EDIT: For confirmation, he did indeed delete his own account.

I noticed that he was gone.
That is sad. He always had intelligent, well thought out posts.
A good board member that I hope will return soon.

After the way he embarrassed himself I'm surprised it took this long to go away. Good riddance.

Eh, the scuffle with Swarm aside (and at this point who HASN'T had a scuffle with Swarm?) I always thought he was a good, solid poster who had some interesting opinions.
A shame to see him go.

A shame to see him go. 4wiw, I always felt the same way about him. He was cool, but when he freaked out it was like the family dog biting your hand when you're trying to give him a snausage, or something like that...whatever.

I never understood why people feel the need to delete their account instead of simply leaving. It seems silly. Take some time off and come back a while later.

Rings was cool. I only got into it with him once and after that he was one of my favorite posters. Hopefully, he'll come back soon.

Rings was definitely a solid contributor to these boards. He had some great posts and really added a lot to some of the discussions. He was a very imaginative person, and I am also sorry to see him decide to leave.
(I should write obituaries).
Anyway, hope to see him back soon.

Sigh...and I had to start that thread! lol.
BTW, did RingsYde come to Galacticon? I knew that was a big thing, having the police come to the convention or whatever (although we know that didn't happen)
But while some of the social issue I may not agree with him, he loved his nerd stuff and I liked reading his stuff about that (since I'm big of a nerd myself!)

Ringsyde, if you're still reading, please come back. You are one of the most fascinating posters here.

Funny thing was when Swarm and myself pulled in to the Holiday Inn, there were about 30 police cars! The cops were having some sort of banquet/dinner in one of the big banquet rooms on the 2nd floor. We turned to each other and I said, "Looks like Ringsyde wasn't kidding."

RingsYde was a quality contributor to this forum. If for whatever reason he has decided to no longer participate here...I wish him well in the 'real world' and publicly thank him for his impressive body of posted contributions.
LWPD (the door is always open for his return...should he ever chose to open it)

*sigh*
You know, I'm REALLY sick of the jerks on this board.
Way to be ambassadors for Tom's game.
EDIT: On second thought, I'm even more sick of the empowerment these jerks receive.
