Someone told me there is going to be a chat room here... is this true to fiction? Hopefully true because it wold be cool to get to chat to Tom, Mark, or other COTGers.

We tried to launch an IRC chatroom last year...usually consisted of me, Werner and...somebody else. It's kinda fallen to the wayside now.

Chat rooms are a little difficult to get going sometimes. Not only do you have to get the people in at the same time but you also have to convince them to download and install an irc program. We tried a java applet but I don't remember if it worked real well. I'm wondering if AIM has a chat room option because there's more then a few people in here on AIM.

It does...I think it requires someone setting it up and inviting others in, though.

I used to chat with a few people when I was on AOl back in 98, bosspickle was one...don't even know if he posts here.
It would be hard. Probably would have to set a certain time a week...

I dont think that Boss has been here yet. I use to talk to him also Trav. We were in a football thing together a long long time ago.
