My little guy has had a tough week. We found out he probably has epilepsy, had a lot of seizures and hospital time since Friday. They say it’s something a lot of kids have, but they grow out of it by kindergarten.
But I just wanted to say it because at only 2 1/2 , he already loves the GWF/LWF. Everytime he sees the game out, he asks me, “Roll?” So I let him roll a few times. Plus, his favorite is the Masked Superstar. He roots out my cards until he finds him and goes, “Superstar!!”
Just give him a thought this week. Thanks and keep the dice rolling!!!!

Sorry to here that he has epilepsy...my opinions have changed over the years as well as my attitude...but one thing that is for sure, I would take every lil' sickness in the world rather than see my kids be ill. Also, my three year old likes to play "dice" and likes the "puppy" (Wolf) and we have to play a lil' match everytime that he notices that I'm playing... I wish you the best and remember that from my understanding- epilypsy can be controlled.

Trav, I hope that you and your son both have the type of holiday weekend / week that totally erases the bad one you just got through. One day, you'll both be sitting at a table, rolling the dice and talking about that time when he used to have seizures. You'll see. My thoughts are with you and the little guy.
Take care.

Hey Trav,
My mom has been an epileptic for most of her life, and I echo what most others have already said in that it can be controlled with medication. She lives a pretty normal life with very little complication from the epilepsy. Everything will be cool, don't worry.

Thanks for the kind words. He's one his medication right now so hopefully everything will be OK.
But we were in the childrens hospital for a couple of days just so they could do tests and I can tell you how lucky he is.
I know his medication will probably controll it so he'll have a normal life. But I saw a few kids there that I knew were bad and that's what broke my heart. I know one day when he's older, we can share playing something like GWF/LWF.
But I still think of all of those poor parents and what those kids go through that they won't be able to play their favorite games with their children growing up.
Thanks again everyone. My wife makes fun of me for playing COTG and posting on here, but she even appreciates what this game means to me.
Keep the dice rolling.
