i would like to send out my thanks to my brother devil dogs, as well as the other service men, that had fallen in battle... Without your ultimate sacrifice this great country could not and would not continue it's ability for freedom. Thank you again. Semper Fidelis

Props to everyone who has served the best country in the world. To think of their brave sacrifice, something as small as playing Champions of the Galaxy is taken for granted, but without their sacrifice, who knows where we'd be.
I've already taught my 2 year old to say thanks to police officers, firemen and the military when we see one out. It's something I want him to never take for granted!

Hey TommyGunn,
Thanks for the great post. I usually overlook this part of the board, but just noticed this thread now. I spent last Friday putting flags on all the military graves at my local cemetery with my Vietnam vet Marine buddy (I'm an Army vet of Afghanisan myself, but we get along just fine, LOL). I agree with everything you said. Here's saluting you at Fort Collins.

Yeah, i did almost the same thing as I jumped into my dress blues and helped the VWF do a memorial service...I was fine until taps was played...friends of mine was killed in Desert Storm and the current Iraqi mess...and I got really emotional.

Be happy knowing that they went out doing the right thing and that they are heroes to many of us.
