"Gary Sprake" (Careless Hands autobiography book) . Now must you be saying , who ? Never heard of him ? . Gary Sprake was a soccer player goalkeeper in the 1960-70's for Leeds United and then Birmingham City . He was also capped for his country Wales . I have read quite a few books by players of the 1960-70's Don Revie (Leeds manager) team like Alan Clarke , Peter Lorimer , John Charles , Eddie Gray , Paul Madeley etc . I would say this is the best of the lot . Stories about fights , soccer stories , run in with the police , his family , cheating in the game etc . I would say 18 out of 20 . Well worth a read .
