I also picked up the 1st of at least 3 Chris Benoit books coming out. Just a warning to everyone DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this one. It's authored by 4 guys, the 2 guys who did the heel book, Irvin Muchnick who I've read a few of his books and he just seems to strongly dislike Vince and wants everyone to know that, and a 4th guy I never heard of. Each guy authors a chapter, it's only 160 pages, and the first two guys go into Benoit's background witch was o.k. but the other too just talk about all the Nancy Grace and other show specials and their opinions on the matter.

I really hope we get a fair view of Benoit in the future books. Chris Benoit was my favorite wrestler for about 12 years and in a lot of ways I'm still trying to figure out how to do with his heinous act. It's weird to suddenly find out that one of your heroes is a murderer. I would like to see some books that focus on the postives of his career not just his sad and horrible ending.

I agree Neil. I'm not a big fan of some of the WWE's books or the video collections. They have gotten better over the years, but the WWE attempts to re-write pro wrestling history when they have no right too.

The Benoit book (the subject and title of this thread) ISN"T a book published by WWE Books.

I wish someone would do what Emerson Murray did with Brody, and interview family, friends, and co-workers, and then have Crowbar Press publish it. In my honest opinion, that's the only way we're ever going to get a fair view on Benoit.
