Did anybody hear about Mike Wieringo dying? He used to draw a lot for DC, drew the Flash for some years. Had a cartoony style, very energetic. I was searching for comic artwork and came across a site that said he had died of a heart attack at age 44 at his home in august. Anybody else hear about this?

Yeah, did see that a few weeks back. Was going to post it, but didn't know how many fans of his were on here. He had a nice run in the mid 90s on one of the Spidey books I enjoyed.

Yeah. He wasn't one of my big favorites but he did stand out with a pretty unique style when a lot of other people were ripping off Jim Lee. He kinda took a manga style and made it his own.

I was reading ,my Hulk comic today and a pic of the FF waving bye to Mike Wieringo and at the bottom was 1967(?) -2007 so I guess he did pass.
