I have just finished reading the Aerosmith biography a good read if you are a fan of the band and last night at work I also finished Brody the bio written by Larry Maytsk and Brody's wife. It wasen't the greatest book but I did like it better then most I have read.

I've been reading "The Darkness That Comes Before", book one of R. Scott Bakker's "Prince of Nothing" series....pretty good work of fantasy....hard to explain but it's good.

Got through a bunch of books lately. The Essential Man-Thing, Volume 1, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (yeah, I'm behind), and My Boring Ass Life by Kevin Smith.

My fiancee sent me on a shopping spree to Barnes and Noble. I picked up the following (and ordered some more off of Amazon): -How to work for an idiot, by John Hoover -Cube Monkeys (from the creators of Careerbuilder.com) (The above 2, I highly reccommend if you laugh and nodded your head during the movie, Office Space). -How to be a villain, by Neil Zawacki -The villain's guide to better living (same author) -How to rule the world, by Andre` De Guillaume Take care, Jay hmmm how to rule the world... I might have to check that one out.

I'm reading "How to Be an Idiot." According to reviews, it's working well for me.

I'm working on The Rise of American Democracy: Jefferson to Lincoln by Sean Wilentz. It's a great read if you are into American History but the one drawback it has is it is very detailed. I think I started it in July and I get about 8 to 10 pages into it and I just feel overwhelmed at times.

Just read the BIschoff book. Although I think he takes too many liberties with certain members of the IWC generally I thought it was pretty good and gave good insight into working for the company during the AOL/time warner merger.

I am still reading "The Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame: The Tag Teams." But, because I forgot to pack that book when I packed my bags on Friday for my 3 day trip to southern Arizona, I bought a copy of "The Bounty Hunters" by Elmore Leonard to read on the plane.
"The Bounty Hunters" is a western and is actually the first novel ever written by Elmore Leoanrd. It's a good book and I'm about 90% of the way thought it so far. While at the airport bookstore, I also bought a copy of Stephen King's "The Mist." But I am still going to go back and finish the last 100 pages or so of "The Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame: The Tag Teams."

Right now I'm reading the "Psychotronic Guide to Film" which is an encyclopedia of movie cheese, sci fi, fantasy, monster movies, crime, horror, and explotation films written in the early eighties. I've also got Jack Hamm's "Cartooning the Head and Figure" that I'm reading through (I've been reading reference books a lot the last few years for some reason).

I'm reading Jericho's book right now ... which is enjoyable ...
Am also really into Donaldson's "Fatal Revenant," the second book in the Final Chronicles of Thomas Covenant (fantasy). I've always really liked the series, but Donaldson uses some mighty big words ... :-)

Big section on the Ali v Inoki bxoer v wrestler match . His two marriages etc . I would say 9 out of 10 .

I Am America (And So Can You!)...with Colbert now dark for the forseeable future I have to get my fix in other ways. Funny as hell but all the jokes in the margins and footnotes (think "The Wǿrd" stretched out for 200 pages) kind of wear on you.
Highspots has (and maybe still has) a deal of 8 wrestilng books (Dusty's, Flair's, 100 Greatest Pro Wrestlers of All-Time, Tributes Vol. 1, and others) for $19.99, so I'll be busy with that for a few months.

Agree totally ... Dusty's was such a disappointing read, for the most part ...
Liked Flair's book, and Death of WCW was pretty good, too ...

ESPN The Uncensored History...I Wanted some more Olbermann hates management stories. I certainly got my fill of what seemed like nearly 200 pages of sexual harassment tales. Not a bad book to see what crap the staff had to put up with, even during the boom era of the mid to late '90's.
