Anybody else get the first issue of World War Hulk? I thought the Planet Hulk saga was fantastic. The Prologue was kinda eh but the first issue came through in spades. The only thing im worried about is Civil War started out great too and look how it ended. Anyway I cant stress enough to pick up this book.

I don't think Civil War ended all that badly- I mean come on- Cap could not go and sit in jail
World War Hulk looks pretty good. I got the first issue and will continue to follow it.
I am really excited for Thor's return, because the stone guy has beef with him.

I don't know marvel just always seems like they always have to squeeze every dime out of there consumers. I shouldn't have to buy 20 books just to see a finale which should have happened in the miniseries of the year. Hulk still rules though.

Yeah, but If Iron Man or Reed Or she Hulk killed Cap, then the guilt would have been too much for them and the focus would have been o that character instead of the Stark/ the Act and how Cap affected everyone.
you are right about them milking storylines.
Anyway, ol' Tony gets his when certain hammer weilding Founding Avenger returns and finds his good buddy dead.

I picked up the first issue and I really liked it. I wasn't planning on getting them but after the first issue, I may just have to keep up with this storyline.

I have been collecting the Hulk since 300 and this Planet Hulk is by far my favourite storyline. There were a few great individual storylines in the last 20 years but none top the Planet Hulk. I was actually looking foward to Wednesdays to get me books.

Just wish he had a bead- otherwise not bad Walt Simonson's pics of Thor with the armor rock, though.

Meh...I don't like it. I like the old Thor look from the 70's better.
