I forgot about this thread. Sacrifice was a pretty good book, and it lives up to its title. I won't spoil anything, but yes, someone gets sacrificed. Inferno should be out this month.
I recently read Outbound Flight and Survivor's Quest. Both were pretty good, thoug in OF, Thrawn was kind of a good-goody. However, someone on the SW boards suggested that this was the case to show how he had fallen. Some links to NJO here was well.
SQ happened 50 years later with Luke and Mara searching for the remains of the voyage. Not as good as OF, but still a good book.
Darth Bane's book is now in paperback, so I'll pick it up after I finish "The Simpsons and Philosophy."
Take care,
Jay

I just read Path of Destruction- It was awesome!
I like how they retconned his histroy to make it seem like he actually ahd something to do withnthe Final Battle of Ruusaan instead of merely being a soldier there.
Bane is awesome, just look at my avatar!

I bought, read, and finished Inferno in a single day. It's my favorite of the series thus far. I don't want to spoil anything, but I'll summarize it in 4 simple words:
All Hell Breaks Loose!
Take care,
Jay

I hope you enjoy it, Rahl.
I just started Darth Bane's book. Pretty good so far. "I hope you die. I hope you die. I hope you die. I hope you die."
Hmm, I wonder if that'd really work on someone....
Take care,
Jay

That SW: Legacy comic is not bad- I just cannot wait until they begin to thin the Sith ranks.
Krayt is a goner sooner or later- and I think Nihl will take over and try to kill everyone else, but Talon will escape
That would be awesome.

Finished the book at about 4 am last night! Man, Caedus has really lost it. He seemed to have a noble purpose in the earlier books, but in this one he was just totally insane! I wanted to stretch the book out, and just read a little bit every day, but every chapter kept me wanting to read more, and I did.
I can't wait to read the next one and see how all the reprecussion of Caedus' action from Inferno play out!
