The X-Men are mine. I seem to stick through the crap no matter what. I have all but about 100 issues of Uncanny at this point and all but 12 issues of the newer series. During my 15 years as a reader the two main X books are the only ones to never get dropped. Though it's the team I like. I've never really followed characters into solo titles.
I also really like Spider-Man but I have given up on the books before so I don't think I could classify him as my all time favorite.

Adam Warlock...that's an interesting pick!
But I have to go with Spidey...heck I even named my little guy, well his middle name Parker (Aiden Parker)
Yeah, there was no way I was going to be like some Hollywood fruit and name my kid some nutty name....and Peter wasn't even an option! ;D

This really changes for me month to month, week to week, day to day... but right now:
Captain America
put him behind enemie lines and he'll single handedly win a war for you. Tactically brillinat, id put him in comand of any campaign.

Tricky one ? . I have 5 for various reasons (Batman , The Incredible Hulk (TV series NOT big movie) , The Lone Ranger , Daredevil & Zorro) . If I had to pick just one , it would be Batman .

the triad..Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman. I read them growing up and still read them now. This being said there has been some BAD!!!!! stories in all of them but as a whole I like them all. So much so I am awaiting the date for their emblems to be tattooed on my person. Recently I started once again to read Wildcats, I really enjoy it for some reason.

Wow, not a very diverse group...I've always liked Green Lantern, Green Arrow, the Incredible Hulk (Although the movie sucked)...anything that is green!!!! Don't know why, just do, so deal with it :-P
Movie wise X-Men movies are best, Spiderman's are cool, never got into Daredevil, I enjoyed Punisher though. Superman original movies are classic and I look forward to the DVD release of the new Superman end of November. And as stated above, sadly the Hulk movie sucked.

SPIDEY! Grew up with Spidey and Marvel. Wasn't too much into Superman and Batman. Never understood the X-Men hype or Wolverine hype. Fantastic 4 was better IMO.
Stopped collecting comics when they hit 40 cents (cheap now) a piece! Then Spidey gets a new costume (which I didn't like), Nova was cancelled, and I saw no reason to get back into comics.
Then came the mid-90's and I discovered Todd McFarlane's Spidey! Loved his artwork, and Spawn! Started collecting again, and got the big issues I had missed (Spidey 300, Spawn 1, Bane breaking Batman's back, and the Death of Superman). Started collecting London Night's RAZOR for a bit, but then comics didn't interest me much anymore. Stopped collecting and now my whole collection is gone (don't ask). Haven't started up again, but I do want to start collecting original art from McFarlane, and my other favorite artists.
Anyway, Spidey is my fave. Captain America, Fantastic Four, Avengers, Hulk, and Thor are my other faves.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Hulk...Oops... Peter David's writing was the best naturally...I loved the Professor Hulk...Then the higher ups went and said "We need Savage Hulk back, that's what fans want." David disagrees, and then leaves the comic...They get several nobodies to come in and take over, and the comic ends...Grr... But yeah, Hulk...Another big favorite of mine...

I never read many comics so my votes come mostly from the cartoons and the Marvel RPG.
Hulk (not the movie version!): When something gets in your way, destroy it!
Colossus: My favorite X Man...they needed him more in the movies.
Thor: I grew up reading mythology and he was the best!
Cable: "The name's Cable...remember it..."
Take care,
Jay

Probably the Vision. Wonderman, The Thing, Captain America and Gambit also rank high for Marvel. Guy Gardner is my DC favorite. Blue Beatle, Red Tornado and Aquaman are also up there. . . Yeah, Aquaman.

Okay, quick rundown of why Warlock and the Infinity Watch are the most powerful supergroup ever (in Marvel)...
In Infinity War the 6 members of the watch (Warlock, Pip, Gamora, Drax, Moondragon and Thanos) get into a fight with the following:
Sasquatch, She-Hulk, Living Lightning, Hulk, Strong Guy, Psylocke, Nova, Vindicator, Hercules, Colossus, Iceman, Vision, Wonderman, Polaris, Havok, Jean Grey, Rogue, Thor, Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, Captain America, Quasar, Professor X and the Thing...
The fight goes on, and Moondragon, Pip and Gamora go down...That leaves Warlock, Thanos and Drax at the end against Thor, Vindicator, Hulk, Cyclops, Strong Guy, She Hulk, Hercules the Thing and Invisible Woman...
So it starts out 27 against 6, and ends up 9 against 3...
I miss the Infinity Watch...They were awesome...
