The Grayson topic/trailer got me thinking about this short. Ever seen it? If so, what did you think? If not, be prepared to see Batman battle some very interesting opponents. ~

Nothing new actually. They had a Batman vs. Predator crossover in the early 90s. You can probably snag it for a few bucks.

Looking over some of the Batman mini-series he fought the Aliens too. And there's been 3 series of Batman vs. Predator. Interesting.
I think a Batman vs. Freddy mini-series would be an interesting crossover.

DEAD END by Sandy Colera is one of the inspirations for Christopher Nolan's BATMAN BEGINS. This short film (which has nothing to do with any of the nineties Batman/Predator or Batman/Aliens mini's except sharing licensed characters) and its great fan response helped inspire Warner Brothers to take a serious look at making a Batman film that avoided a fully armored hero and a tongue-in-cheek storyline.
This is one of my favorite Comic-Con shorts. I'd also suggest WORLD'S FINEST (also by Colera) and a Hulk vs. Wolverine short from three years ago that was featured at the pre-San Diego Con build-up.

Sandy Colera also worked for Stan Winston Studios (They made a bunch of cool stuff including Pumpkinhead)...thats how he was able to get spot on aliens and predator costumes...the story here was that the movie was produced as a buisness card of sorts to movie companies a few years ago. I guess Sandy wanted to get into directing.
I remember being at cons and looking for it (very few were initially produced.). No one had it anywhere and it was a VERY sought after disc. This was in the days prior to youtube and such.
Interesting note: The actor that played the Joker is actually the same actor who was "Boner" Stabone on Growing Pains. He is also the son of Walter Keonig the actor who portrayed Checov on the original Star Trek tv series.
