Has anyone else read any of the books from this wonderful series?
If you haven't it's a series that's mostly crafted after fantasy and parodies just about anything you can imagine. There are over 30 novels in the series with about 5 main characters that take turns starring in each book. DEATH is my favorite character from the series so far.

I've all but the young adult books. The ones featuring the City Watch are my favorites.

I haven't read a City Watch book yet. I've read mostly the Rincewind books at this point.

I love this series...
I cannot remember the book, but there is a bit about "Ideas" floating around and then "hitting" people right when they are needed...Unfortunately for Rincewind he was about a foot to the left of the perfect idea for the situation and the brick in the wall knew exactly what to do!
i laughed out load when i read them.
Going Postal is very good, especially if you know anything about computer networks and long-haul communications.
And anyone in the military would love the The Last Continent and Monstrous Regiment!
If you know anything about movies or even if you don't and want to read about how "odd" Hollywood is, go and Get Moving Pictures...oh god it is good!
Commander Vimes maybe one of the best written characters in any series!
I could go on and on...
Pratchett is the absolutely best Satirist of our time!

I think the idea hitting people thing was from one of the first two books. I want to say it was in the Light Fantastic when they were dealing with that cult.
