After months of anticipation, Star Wars: Purge (comic) finally came out. And I was extremely disappointed. You know before hand how the story was going to end, so this whole comic was not about swerving the reader, but providing an entertaining story leading up to the inevitable end. This comic did not do this. For one of the first times in a long time, I cannot recommend this Dark Horse Star Wars comic.
However, if you really want to get your Dark Horse Star Wars fix, I really recommended picking up the Star Wars: Republic "The Hidden Enemy" 3 part story. While the third part is not out yet, the first 2 parts have been great (starting with Star Wars: Republic #81). The story basically consists of "Order 66" being executed on the other two Jedi on Kashyyyk.

Really? I rather enjoyed Purge...but then, I was reading aloud in my best Vader voice to my buddy that was driving, so that may have been part of it.

I also thought it was a good read. It was only one month after RotS, so we're not given the Darth we all know and love, but this was pretty fun and entertaining.
