anyone else reading this gem by Robert Kirkman?
Simply the best book being made today, for my money...in fact, at the end of every story arc, I go back and reread the whole series up to the current issue.
This is the ONLY title I do this with.
The new arc just began, and the first three are collected in trade paperbacks...with new ones collecting the previous arc coinciding with the first issue of each new arc.
It starts with the dead rising and follows the exploits of a group of survivors as they try to survive - and try to figure out why they even bother - in a world that has collapsed.
Tremendous stuff.
A disclaimer, though...it is not for most kids, as it has graphic language, violence and occasional nudity...and it's also neither flashy, nor "witty". It's just good storytelling. It's also black and white, but honestly, if the covers weren't in color, I would never notice it in the book.
