LWPD (this was from the Arsenio Hall show circa Summer of '90...this appearance was designed to plug the upcoming cage title match between Rude and WWF World Champion Ultimate Warrior at Summerslam....this is a reminder of just how well RR came off in mainstream media gigs...Rude was a tragic figure because he had so much potential...that due to injury and death...was left unfulfilled...had he emerged in the pro wres market of today he would have possessed all the ideal performance qualities needed to rise to the upper echelon...RIP)

one of my favorites of all time. As I look back at some of the old arena reports from the Warrior/Rude swing in 1990 they almost all say Rude was getting a fair share of cheers, his charisma was undeniable.

Bobby Heenan was always one of my favorite heels as far as his verbal bashing skills. It breaks my heart to see him now in the condition that he's in.
