Yeti Invades Halloween Havoc 95tinyurl.com/2xrl2l
LWPD (this was from WCW during the close out of the annual Halloween Havoc PPV...The Giant (Paul Wight) has Hulk Hogan trapped in a bear hug while Kevin Sullivan and Jimmy Hart direct traffic...look for run ins by Lex Luger and Randy Savage...along with The Yeti...who was thawed out from a block of ice and made his debut as a stilted boot wearing mummified Ron Reis...look for his 'loosely grab the neck' version of the double bear hug...and the ultra cool Zombie Strut...RIP)
"What in the hell is going on...and who is on what side?...The Yeti is taller than The Giant...look at the size of The Yeti..."-Tony Schiavone...selling feelings of shock, amazement and awe...while Tony was critiqued for displaying a lack of genuine enthusiasm during the end years of WCW...in fairness...having material like this to work with 'week after week' for years on end would probably stunt anyone's performance I wanna jump but I'm afraid I'll fall I wanna holler but the joint's too small Young man rhythm's got a hold of me too I got the rockin' pneumonia And the boogie woogie flu

Did the Yeti ever appear again after this? I don't remember him doing so. Maybe World War 3 a month later?

Did the Yeti ever appear again after this? I don't remember him doing so. Maybe World War 3 a month later? The mummy look was dropped after it's debut and Ron Reis was given a Ninja Outfit and still billed as The Yeti at the next group of TV Tapings. Only in pro wres.

I remember the billing of the first World War 3 was "3 Rings, 3 Giants" meaning Giant, Yeti and Hogan (I guess he's a giant now).. Yeti was the 2nd guy out.

I remember the billing of the first World War 3 was "3 Rings, 3 Giants" meaning Giant, Yeti and Hogan (I guess he's a giant now).. Yeti was the 2nd guy out. The World War 3 match concept had to be one of the best examples of a pro wres company needlessly flushing money away...ultimately because it didn't care. If VKM could do a 30 man Royal Rumble...EB had to do an event with 60. Paying sixty bodies...just for the sake of 'having' a match concept that doubled up on Vince can appear ridiculous on the surface...but there was always an internal logic to it. While no event 'required' such a massive labor cost...jacking up costs are never a concern for a division with-in a corporation....successfully 'justifying' allocation of 'greater funding' from the parent providing said funding was the goal and incentive behind everything that drove WCW from the moment it was created by Turner. Eric knew how to 'play the game' better than anyone...until the merger eventually changed the rules forever. Look for the The Yeti (in Ninja gear) walking out after Bagwell. "The real stunner is....that The Yeti has already been eliminated..."
-Chris Cruise sells the 'fast and furious' excitement in Ring 3...with The Yeti gone near minutes into the matchWorld War 3 '95 Battle Royal Continued and Concluded.
