This was from WCW circa February of '90 at the Clash of Champions X...at the time Flair and the Andersons were in the strange position of being faces...aligned with Sting...listen as Ole Anderson (then booker) shows why he is considered one of the great promo men of the territory days...while the legendary RF follows up with an intense close out...look for cameos by Terry Funk and Arn Anderson...along with commentary from Jim Ross and Jim Cornette...a solid angle)

"We want to make sure that everyone around the country has an opportunity to hear what I'm about to say...and I want you to in particular pay attention to it Sting...because you're the reason we're here tonight...I want you to know...you're not going to be a Horsemen anymore...it's over...no more Horsemen for the Sting...no...close your mouth a second...I'm going to explain something to you...I want everyone to listen real close...and you listen real close...when Ric called me and called Arn to come in here...it was for one reason...and the reason he called us in here...was to get rid of you...and I'll tell ya...just be quiet...because there's three of us standing out here...and just one of you..."

-Ric Flair....affirming his heel turn and the betrayal of his friend...the Stinger

LWPD (Ole always seemed to have had a bit of James Gandolfini in him...and like a bipolar Tony Soprano...he could play the role of face or heel equally effectively)

That was a great wrestling moment. I still remember it vividly.

That's one that stands the test of time. I loved how Ole played the bad cop to Flair's good cop...all the while revealing to the audience that both men were blatantly corrupt.

Ric Flair: "Sting...I brought you a little time..."

Ole Anderson: "No you're too easy on him...here's the deal...you've got two hours to make up your mind...and you're no longer a Horseman...and if we ever see you again...you won't be quite so lucky..."

Then Flair sucker punches Sting and b*tch slaps him as the Andersons hold him back defenseless! Great story telling by all involved.
