I think that seals the deal...at 5-0 with 17 points I don't think Encubus can be caught now. I could be wrong (nearly failed gr. 10 math) but nice showing indeed!
EDIT: I think Bloodline can still catch him IF Encubus loses his last two matches and Bloodline wins.
Plus he was my 'pick' to win it.
Though he had a rough showing...I thought Amazing Mann stood his ground. He got counted out, DQ'd, lost a 10 minute marathon to Encubus and lost to Swarm. I thought Paralyze would have done way better than he did.
Great Tourney Big Daddy...

Oh I'm hoping Encubus can hold on and do me proud. When I saw the tourney I decided to go with him, as he's my favorite character and my current champion. It looks like he's done me proud.
I think Amazing Mann and Swarm did great. I too thought Paralyze would dominate, but it looks like he had a rough patch.

Yeah Encubus is my GWF Champion as well...he's on the cusp of greatness for me...and I'll be sure to encorporate a win at the Not@G-Con Cup into my fed to give him bragging rights should he hold on. It is the official 'off season' in my fed, so an unsanctioned tournement to replace my old KOTR is a perfect fit.

This is such a great idea.
I really wish I could have caught this, but my low activity around here kind of prevented it.
Next round, I'd REALLY like to be in.

Thanks for all of the awesome feedback, everybody. I'm glad everyone's had fun with it so far. Not that it makes up for not being in Jamestown, but at least we got a tourney of our own. Floyd is correct - Encubus can still be caught by Bloodline, but it's a longshot. We'll have to see how it ends up here in a little while. Time to go start getting everyone ready for their day here at home, but I'll be back with the final tallies in about five hours.

The late results are pouring in! (Sorry, fell asleep before I could get these posted).
Valour vs. Amazing Mann in a Titan Death Match: Amazing Mann jumped valour as he came into the ring and hit a piledriver off the bat before locking in an incredible neck grip to try an early submission. Valour fought his way back up and Mann shot him into the turnbuckles. Valur and Mann both went for clotheslines out of the buckle and both went down. Valour managed to get to his feet first and went on the offense. A flurry of high-powered offense almost spelled the end for Mann, but he managed to kick out after both the VIOLENT OUTBURST and WARRIORS RAGE. Valour sent his opponent out of the ring in frustration. Mann made a comeback on the outside after a violent brawl and threw Valour back into the ring. As Valout stumbled to his feet Amazing Mann locked in the CONTORTION for the win.
winner- THE AMAZING MANN
Payback vs. Encubus:
Encubus and Payback locked up to start the bout and Encubus went right to work on the Titan, breaking the lockup with an eye rake and biting the head of Payback. A Satanic Skull Smasher and early cover only got a one count. Encubus hit Payback with everything he had on offense and Payback could offer little in return. A back rake and double axe were easily countered. Payback finally rolled out of the ring for a breather. Encubus followed, which was his one and only mistake in this one. Payback grabbed him and slammed him on the floor to finally get in a move on offense. Encubus crawled back in and Payback set up EXVENGE. Encubus rolled out of the way at the last second and Payback hit the mat hard. A GAMEMASTER DDT and SECOND COMING later saw Encubus score the win.
winner- ENCUBUS
Bloodline vs. Paralyze:
Paralyze started by overwhelming Bloodline with his size and strength. A series of forearm swipes and double knees had Bloodline rocking. Paralyze went for a throat slam, but Bloodline blocked and reversed into an attempted shoulder and arm suplex but Paralyze would not budge. Another barrage of forearms and knees led to a power bomb that sent Bloodline hard to the mat. A Gladiator Piledriver could not get a 3 count. Paralyze pressed his offense with a series of power moves, throwing around the third dgeneration star like a rag doll.A big elbow drop found nobody home and Bloodline came back strong. Three Galaxy Movers in a row led to a Cetus Sleeper. Paralyze managed to shrug off Bloodline, but a powerful Thrust kick and a Vertibreaker sent him to the mat. Bloodline ascended to the top rope and one COSMIC BIG BANG later the match was won.
winner- BLOODLINE

Encubus pinned Paralyze following the GAMESMASTER DDT A bored Endgame defeated Swarm with the ROLLING FIGURE FOUR A surprisingly spry Amazing Mann dominated Bloodline and made him tap with CONTORTION Valour hit a quick kata guruma and applied the WARRIOR'S RAGE for a 20-second choke out victory over Payback (2 moves!).

Let's recap Payback's run in this tournament. He got squashed by Endgame, Encubus, Bloodline, and Valour. According to the write-ups it looks like he got a total of five moves in four matches. He lost to Paralyze, managed to win by disqualification over Amazing Mann, and actually beat Swarm in a cell match. Wow, I hope he turns it up a notch if he's going to feud with anyone REALLY good in 2121. (I read the spoilers, but I won't ruin it for anyone who didn't).

Woo hoo! Go Encubus! It's ALL ABOUT YOU!!!!
Thanks again Big Daddy Swank. This was lots of fun. Maybe it can be an annual event for those who can't go to GCon.

Not a bad finish for Amazing Mann. I think Big Daddy may have made a mistake in the final standings...TAM went 3-4...with a win over Paralyze, Bloodline and Valour (in a sp. match). So by my count he got 11 points...still not enough to win, but a little bit better than the 6 I have now.
Congrats to Encubus and offspring515...can't argue with 7-0!

Nice tourney Big Daddy.. I couldn't actually participate, but if I could have, I'd have likely taken Disaster or (if Mike McKinney had his way) Tauran... But, overall it was a great read and very well put together...I'm actually glad I missed it because I think 9 (or 10) people wouldn't have been as easy to pair up as 8....Thanks for the Not@G-Con Tournament though, I loved it...
