Floyd Not@G-Con Cup Results
MATCH 1: Swarm defeated Valour in a *** ½ match with HORNET’S STING after withstanding an early onslaught from Valour. Before the match, She Devil said that she would be in Swarm's corner...but he wasn't so sure...and told her to sit this one out! Good match. (3 Points for Swarm)
After the match, a very confident Swarm claimed that he was going to walk out tonight with the Cup…and that nobody, not Endgame…not Encubus…not even that monster Paralyze could stop him from winning one for the good guys…or in this case, good guy...himself!
"Anyone who thinks differently is just...plain...WRONG!"
MATCH 2: Before the match started, Endgame came out and waited in the ring as the ‘incredible spectacle’ that is Vin Strutter and TGSITG made their way to ringside. Vin led The Amazing Mann out to falling confetti and, megaphone in hand, serenaded the crowd with tales of wonder coutesy of the escape artist known as The Amazing Mann! Mann looked focused as he climbed into the ring, ready to face one of the greatest wrestlers in the entire Galaxy!
Endgame def The Amazing Mann by count-out when, after being thoroughly beat up by Endgame…the match made its way to the outside where Vin decided to help his man out by picking up a chair…and with all his might, he swung that chair at Endgame’s turned head…but he missed…and nailed TAM right in the center of his forehead. Endgame just shook his head and climbed into the ring and Vin desperately tried to revive…and then lift TAM back into the ring as the ref counted…8……9……10! A groggy Amazing Mann was helped to the back…still not fully aware at what just happened. (3 Points for Endgame)
BACKSTAGE: We see Vin fanning a still groggy Amazing Mann with a newspaper as a confused Steele Freak looks on from his cage.
“Mann…I apologize…you had him right where you wanted him…I shouldn’t have gotten involved…why didn’t I just use the powder…why…WHY!?!?”
“Uhhhh…just promise me…you won’t blow on that megaphone the rest of the night…I’ve got a killer headache right now! So…uhhhh….when’s my next match?”
“Soon Amazing Mann…soon…Freak…get him some ice!”
(Vin looks over at Freak, who is still in his cage…with a dumb look on his face…)
“Right…can someone ELSE get The Amazing Mann some ICE!!”
MATCH 3: Encubus walks out first…without Thantos. He calls out Bloodline. He wants to get their match started. Out walks Bloodline…carrying a 20 foot steel chain.
“You and me will be forever linked because of our fathers…so I think THIS (holds up chain) is only fitting!”
Encubus def Bloodline in their Castor Chain Match when Bloodline, who was controlling the match, went for a 2nd rope falling fist with the chain and missed…giving Encubus the opening he needed…and one which he took full advantage of, hitting a SECOND COMING and MAFFEI MASTERLOCK back to back before finishing Bloodline off with a Encubus Crucifix for the BIG win. (5 Points for Encubus)

The Amazing Mann w/ Vin Strutter vs. Paralyze - Both men vie for control, although, mostly Paralyze chasing Mann around the ring - Finally, Paralyze catches hold of Mann and tosses him around like a rag doll, before tossing him to the outside, then slamming him head first into the announcers table - Paralyze lifts Mann up for a powerbomb, but Mann locks on an incredible neck grip, as both men tumble to the outside - Strutter takes advantage, and smashes Paralyze with the microphone - Back inside, Mann whips Paralyze into the buckles, but Paralyze reverses….big clothesline charge in the buckles - After a body slam toss, Paralyze hits the High Tension - Paralyze locks on the PARALYZER, but Mann is right next to the ropes - Strutter helps tug Mann over the top rope (while in the PARALYZER) to escape the hold…Paralyze follows him to the outside, but is nailed with a hard right hand to the face by Mann - Back inside, Mann lands a deathjump for the pinfall
Valour vs. Endgame - This is just a wild brawl from the opening bell, as both men fight to the outside, where they are both DQ’d
Circinus Cell Match Swarm vs. Payback - Swarm takes control right at the start, hitting a bodyslam, then immediately following it up with the HORNET’S STING, but Payback kicks out - Swarm sends Payback into the cage wall, then grinds his head into the cage - Swarm sends Payback into the cage again, then takes a running slam into the cage - Both men start climbing to the top of the cage…but both men are trading punches…Payback is knocked off the cage, and falls to the ring - Swarm then tries for a deathjump off the top of the cage…but Payback moves….Swarm slams into the mat - Payback slams Swarm into the cage wall - Both men climb out of the and then on top of the cage…both are fighting….Payback sends Swarm FLYING….and he crashes through the announce table!! - Swarm is not able to get up…in fact…he is not even moving!! Payback wins the match by default
Amazing Man over Paralyze via pinfall Valour & Endgame fought to a double DQ Payback over Swarm in a Circinus Cell Match when Swarm could not continue

Here are my results. Thanks again for organizing this, it was fun Paralyze vs. Valour: Valour is tossed around for a few moves, but he ducks out of the way of a charging Paralyze, who hits the corner, and gets rolled up for the 123 in just over a minute. Valour pins Paralyze --------- The Amazing Mann vs. Encubus: Mann comes out swinging, trapping Encubus in the Contortion twice in the early going. Encubus fights back and hits the Gamemaster DDT 3 times for near falls. Encubus finally catches Mann with the Encubus Crucifix for the pin at 10 and a half minutes. Encubus pins Amazing Mann. ---------- Endgame vs. Payback: Payback didn't stand a chance, as he got in ZERO offensive moves in this one. Endgame beat him from pillar to post, bloodying him in the process, and scoring the submission victory with the Rolling Figure Four. Endgame submits Payback. --------- Bloodline vs. Swarm: Another squash, as Swarm hardly got out of the gate. A close fall with the Cosmic Big Bang, and then a quick submission to the Cetus Masterlock was all she wrote. Bloodline Submits Swarm. ------------ Thanks again, this was a fun tournament to be a part of. Oh yeah, and GOOOOOO Encubus!

Live from the Hulman Civic Center in Terre Haute, Indiana, we bring you another round of the 1st Annual Not@G-Con Cup!
Paralyze vs. Swarm Swarm won with a Bee Keeper Backbreaker - *½ Recap: Both wrestlers had trouble executing any offense early on in the match, with Swarm being too quick for Paralyze and Paralyze shrugging off most everything Swarm threw at him. Swarm took over after a brawl outside, though, getting near falls on a Bee Keeper Backbreaker and a HORNET'S STING, before finally keeping the big Aethran down with a Swarm Attack immediately followed up by a second Bee Keeper Backbreaker.
The Amazing Mann vs. Payback Payback won by disqualification - ½* Recap: Payback dominated from the opening bell, taking Mann down with a wildman spear and executing several more high power moves. He signaled for the EXVENGE, but Vin Strutter pulled Mann out of the way and the move missed. He then threw his paralyzing powder at Payback as he staggered to his feet, and some of it hit the referee in the face as well, sending him down. Mann threw Payback to the outside and worked him over there, but when the referee came to he called for the bell, disqualifying Mann for Strutter's interference.
Encubus vs. Endgame Encubus won with a MAFFEI MASTERLOCK - ***¼ Recap: This was a very strong match. Endgame controlled the action early, getting counts of two after a Shining Wizard and an ULTIMA LEAP. Encubus took over on the outside, though, after rolling out of the ring following a Northern Lights Bomb from Endgame. Once back in the ring he applied the MAFFEI MASTERLOCK, but Endgame reached the ropes. He followed up with near fall following a GAMEMASTER DDT, then hit a perfect deathjump before applying the MAFFEI MASTERLOCK again, this time in the middle of the ring. With no way to escape, Endgame was forced to submit to give the match to Encubus.
Valour vs. Bloodline Bloodline won with a COSMIC BIG BANG - *¾ Recap: Bloodline absolutely dominated Valour, who got in absolutely zero offense. He did show a lot of heart, kicking out of two Bloodline Vertibreakers and breaking a CETUS MASTERLOCK, but he was eventually put away with a COSMIC BIG BANG.

Standings through five rounds of the Not@G-Con Cup
1. Encubus (4-0-0, 14 points) 2. Bloodline (3-1-0, 9 points) 3. Swarm (3-2-0, 9 points) 4. Payback (2-2-0, 7 points) 5. Endgame (2-2-1, 7 points) 6. Valour (1-3-1, 4 points) 7. Paralyze (1-3-0, 3 points) 8. The Amazing Mann (1-4-0, 3 points)
Things are looking pretty good for offspring515 and Encubus. He's pretty well in control at this point, and is in good shape to win the Cup barring a major meltdown. There's still three rounds left to go, though, and anything can happen!

Okay here we go...
Match 1 - Endgame absolutely dominated and scored the victory over Paralyze in a Torture Chamber three falls to none. *Fall One - Endgame pinned Paralyze following the ULTIMA LEAP. *Fall Two - Endgame pinned a bloodied Paralyze following a Top Rope Catapult. *Fall Three - Paralyze passed out to the ROLLING FIGURE FOUR to give Endgame the victory.
Match 2 - Bloodline absolutely dominated Payback and forced him to submit with the CETUS MASTERLOCK. Payback managed to get in no offensive maneuvers.
Match 3 - Encubus managed to gain the advantage late in the match and forced a bloodied Swarm to tap out with the MAFFEI MASTERLOCK in a back and forth **** match.
**Thanks for the tournament. My boy is still doing pretty well, maybe he'll gain some ground ("Let's go, Bloodline!!!!") ;D. Peace.
