Kevin Nash recently did an interview with Alex Marvez of TCPalm.com. Nash at least partially continued his claims of stealing the show in "The Longest Yard," despite no major reviewers noticing his presence.
Nash plays Engleheart in the film, a guard who accidentally takes an estrogen injection. The wrestler was reportedly given more screen time after impressing executives with his humor in the initial scenes.
"Most of the other guards in the movie were angry and they stay angry," said Nash. "My character was angry but became emotional. I thought I would have a real good chance to steal some scenes.
"Its funny because I've always been a clown and a comedian in the locker room. I think this movie will do well in knocking down a lot of stereotypes about me being just a big guy."
Nash also noted that his days wrestling with TNA might have come to a close. "The acting thing is working a little for me. I know I'm not Tom Cruise, but I think I can get steady work, And I've been good with my money, so I don't need a whole lot. I had planned on retiring at 45 and I'll be 46 in July, so I've already done my time."
