ECW PPV

According to PWInsider, the ECW PPV has been set for 6/5/05 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, where ECW ran some of its final shows. It is not known whether the show will feature only ECW wrestlers with WWE, other ECW stars, or simply be a WWE event with the "ECW" name. In any event, the feeling is that if Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer are not involved in the show, its success will already be curbed.

It would be cool if they scrapped the whole Raw/Smackdown split and turned to a WWF/ECW split. Put all the ECW guys one one show, with a one or two WWF turn-coats, let Heyman have full-control, and run with it.
But ya know Vince would never let that happen.

I think that would be a cool idea. I don't think that Vince would go that route either, but he does tend to give people what he thinks they want, so I don't know.

It would turn out great if Vince let Heyman handle the show and do everything his way but we all know that wont happen because Vince wont let it

What is Dreamer's role with WWE nowadays? Is he an agent? Did he ever have booking duties in ECW, or was he simply a wrestler?

Yes I am and when it comes to ECW I know almost everything ;D
Hopefully they bring back Joey Styles and Joel Gertner back for the PPV as well as some former ECW stars
