LOU ALBANO In some sad news, Captain Lou Albano suffered a heart attack earlier this week. However, Albano is currently in stable condition and is set to be released from the hospital later this week. Albano, who is currently 71 years old, is a legendary manager in the world of pro-wrestling and has managed over a dozen tag teams to the WWE Tag Team Championships over his long service in the industry. Albano was scheduled to reunite with The Valiant Brothers at a convention in New Jersey this weekend, but it is unlikely that he will be attending at this point TAMMY LYNN SYTCH(SUNNY) UXW promoter Frank Goodman posted a message on the promotion's official website indicating that former WWE/WCW/ECW superstar Tammy Lynn Sytch was hospitalized over the weekend for a minor nervous breakdown. Sytch is currently out of the hospital, and asked Goodman to post the message about her hospital stay in order to kill rumors that the reason she was in the hospital was due to an overdose of pain medication.
Just this past Saturday, Sytch made her first public wrestling appearance since the death of Chris Candido at a Women's Extreme Wrestling show at the Electric Factory. After a ten bell salute to Candido, Sytch gave a short speech before the matches began and managed indy wrestler Talia later in the show. Sytch was wearing Candido's old ring jacket during the entire event.
